just one problem i'm having. just one single user can't see the vbexperience menu, and we can't see his stats - nobody can see his stats. it just says no data available. his usergroup is same as everyoen else, he's got reputation etc, and i've even done a recount. no such luck. any idea what the problem could be??

How do I change the 'vBexperience tab on the profile page to read XP?

You will probably need to look into the USERCPSHELL template (or it's named something similar), or there may be an option inside the phrase manager.

In the admin panal go to "Languages & Phrases">"Phrase manager" Type in vBexperience. Myself, I changed all the phrases to read Raven'sExperience.

I have it installed and it seems fine but with a couple of issues....
I tried to read all 60+ pages of post, but didnt find my answer...
I dont have the options in Admin CP....
I have it in the options but dont have all access to awards or anything....
Second is I dont have a link in my navbar or quicklinks...

Did you copied all files from ZIP / upload to the server?

Do you really have the file "\includes\xml\cpnav_xperience.xml" on your server? Please check if you don't copied to wrong folder.

I did another upload and now I have all the ACP options, bu still dont have anything in my navbar or quicklinks....

You will have to enable this via AdminCP. If it then still don't work, upgrade your templates to 3.7

I'm still not sure how to change the 'vbexperience' so it says 'XP' I've gone to the phrase manager, done a search for vbexperience but it lists several different things, not sure which one I am meant to change? Do I type in the replace 'vbexperience' with 'Xp' in the lanuages box?

I'll play around with it, maybe it's me being dopey.

I would like to add information from a another application into the activity calculation. The data is in the same database, so it should be easy to query. I am reading the code a bit, but is there any guidance posted on how to add your own data into the experience?

Where can I set the promotions (e. g. that all User with > Level 5 change their Group so that they can set their Usertitel)?

That would be much work to do. You will need a new column in xperience_stats and also php code that fills it. I'm already planing to do an interface to do such additions via AdminCP.

You will need to edit XLS Sheet or the level product XML.

Only if you change the position of the bars via AdminCP.

No, the second graphic shows the level up in %, and the hover text shows how many points.

Quick question, will "ignore users" or "ignore usergroups" work to prevent the vBExperiance promotions system from changing a user's primary group? I have a lot of members on my site in special primary usergroups (videogame developers, fellow admins and supermods). If I messed up their access...it would be a shitstorm. :(

Once again: Level up graphic does already show the levelup in %. Maybe you should describe me this via PM in german language.

Per default the promotion system is disabled, so you don't need to worry about this. If you wanna use it, you should assign all people to secondary usergroups.

I have a question and could not find the answer here. I have installed the mod. When I click a username I get the dropdown list with the vbexperience stats. When I click that it goes here:
mydomain.com/xperience.php?u=1 and sais "Page not found"

Also, when I go to this page mydomain.com/xperience.php I see "Page not found"

I use vbulletin 3.7.0 with vbseo. Maybe vbseo has sth to do with it?

I have 40K members, 701K posts and 51K Threads, My board is hosted on a dedicated server.
After Instaling your mod, load average =~ 20
immediately after removing the mod, load average < 1

Where would I have to edit code so that user's secondary group is changed due to a promotion instead of primary? Is that possible? Would it even be a good idea?

I have Vbex since when was published, first for 3.6.8 and since a couple of months ago for 3.7.

I had a problem with this: I had to create a new user group and when I changed users from their regular group for this new one they just couldn't had permission to see Vbex pages. All I did was reinstall the product and everything is OK now.

Trying to solve this problem I noticed that on "Show All Prizes" screen, all I can see are users' avatars and names but the prizes legend can't be seen. I have only 5 prizes set up on my forum, on post bit I can see every user with its repective prize but on "Show All Prizes" screen I can see some people twice that has only one prize and can't someone else that has a prize on post bit.

Funny is I still have my old 3.6.8 still running (I kept it for tests only) and for this one the "Show All Prizes" screen is displayed correctly.

Any idea ?

It is here: vBExperience 3.7.14 has been released to the public as a Beta. You can download it in the first post.

What's new?
Primary a bunch of known bugs have been fixed, including a lot of overall improvements.
Secondary, as a paid request of the The Brotherhood of International Gamers, a virtual Shop has been introduced.

Here is an overview of the most requested stuff:
- Added Shop: Users can buy virtual items that you can define via AdminCP. You can decide which points should be substracted by a purchase. Supports categories.
- Added: Navigaton bar
- Added new xperience: "thanks - vS-Hide Hack Resurrection (Expanded Edition)". This one is controlled by the already existing "thanks" setting.
- Awards: Manual assign of awards to multiple users possible via seperating ID's with a comma
- Experience: Now working with "Memberlist per page" (formerly static 50 users per page)
- Experience: Added possibility to search members by name
- Experience: Added new setting: Count only active users. Only users who were active in the last X days are beeing calculated. Speeds up performance on large boards.
- Experience: Added new behaviour: Stats of ignored users/usergroups are deleted
- Experience: Fixed double stats for particular users
- Added: Before installation, check if class_xperience.php is uploaded

And as always many smaller fixes and changes.

How to upgrade?
1. Copy ALL (I mean ALL) files from /upload/ to the server. Espacially take care of the images, copy them to your style misc folder if you use a customized style
2. ReImport product_vbexperience3714.xml, allow overwrite
3. If you modified any of the vBExperience templates, revert them ALL
4. Run Maintenance Tools/Recount

vBExperience 3.7.14 GOLD will be released next week.
