Where can i find TV stations links?

Dream 11-23-2007 11:53 PM

In the third post of this thread there are links for TV and radio directories.

Wolf Link 11-24-2007 04:33 AM

Worked like a Dream, Dream. xD
Thanks much for the help. I completely forgot to upload those XMLs, and now the stations work perfectly!

Awesome modification. Thanks again ^^

No, reload your admincp, there should be a menu Radio and TV.

I have the same exact error as this person. I think it had to do with deleting. I just updated to the newest version. Did not have this problem before. Any ideas?

First you need to upload the cpnav file, then you reload the admincp.

Ok, been through 19 pages and my question still wasn't answered so I'm posting.

I understand that we're looking for .asx / .rm files here, but I can't freaking find any. Even in the links posted here. The type of code that's provided for me in these links is as follows:

http://www.medinalia.com/play/Energy_92.7_FM/5854

Obviously, that doesn't end in .asx or .rm. What gives? I swear I'm not stupid. But I am frustrated lol.

See what player they use on their site, if its Windows Media Player, Real Player...

Sure some mods that I have installed in the past require minor template editings. Who doesnt have templates that have been edited.

Dream 11-26-2007 03:54 PM

I mean, Radio and TV templates.

DAdiguzeL 11-26-2007 05:08 PM

I installed but i don't see my radio link on my navbar.
I've added the codes to my navbar.
I gave the permissions and set the station.

Everything seems OK. But I don't see the link on nav bar.

Any ideas?

Well, most of the sites listed in this thread appear to use flash and not media player. I think that's why I'm stumped. Is it possible the majority of sites listed in this thread are useless for this hack?

Edit - One in question is this site. It says media player. Yet I get a code similar to that listed above.

Attachment 72670

Dream 11-26-2007 06:54 PM

That KDDK seems to be media player, try adding it using the Default Player option, which is Windows Media Player.

This mod doesn't support Flash streams unfortunately, but it supports three major programs that have loads of available streams on the internet.

If you are looking for stations, check the third post of this thread, there there are a couple links for radio and TV stations directories.

If you added the code to the navbar template then you should see the Radio and TV link on your navbar.

Yeah I have been using the 'default.'

Thanks for your help. I'm really excited to start using this bad boy on my forum! I'll mess around with it some more. :)

DAdiguzeL 11-26-2007 09:18 PM

I have two styles and i'm quite sure that i edited the right style.

In my navbar:
at the top:

Code:

<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
function openRadioAndTV(){
radioAndTVWindow = window.open('radioandtv.php', 'radioandtv', 'directories=no,height=500,width=700,location=no,menubar=no,resizable=yes,status=no,scrollbars=yes,toolbar=no');
}
//-->
</script>

this code

and after calendar:

Code:

<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="javascript:openRadioAndTV()">$vbphrase[rs_RadyoTV]</a></td>
this code, i have.

I there any wrong tag?

PS: I've added a station and gave the permissions too but there's no link at the navbar.
Forum url is: www.tatangalar.com/forum

Dream 11-26-2007 11:12 PM

$vbphrase[rs_RadyoTV]

this is wrong

Cando 11-27-2007 02:17 AM

I'm not able to delete categories or even click and get other stations working. The first station loads but nothing else does when clicking on them.

Adding a station doesn't work either. It just says loading but doesn't do anything.

Anyone have an idea as to what's wrong and how to correct it?

Dream 11-27-2007 02:50 AM

Do you have your vbulletin AJAX option enabled?

But in the install.txt file:
you said:

Quote:

Code:

You can now translate phrases that begin with "rs_" to your language.

So i translated it, to my language.

Or here's the question; after that how can i translate that phrase?

I changed it to: "rs_radiostations"

but still doesn't seem on the navigation bar.

Hi, yes that's enabled. When hovering over the click buttons though it says javascript:updateStatistics() . Don't know if that has anything to do with them not working?

You edit in your admincp phrases... Check the vbulletin manual for more information.

Sorry I checked here and I can delete stations just fine, I have no idea what may be happening to your installation. Try reinstalling the latest version.

Dream thanks for help but i think i can't explain myself really good.

There's no English link, or English word about Radio and Tv add-on on my site.
I put the codes to navbar and there's no link.

It's not about the translation thou.

I'm traslating but still my navbar without radio&tv link.

PS: I gave the permissions too.
