Hello! Great Hack, but there is something bothering me..
While i can see the coin in postbit_legacy in the SHOWTHREAD, i cannot see the coin on showpost...

Can you tell me how to fix it please?

yes, 1.4 has that specifically, also marks on forumdisplay

1,281 people have downloaded vbCredits from here. Why not show support to Dark and PixelFX for ALL OF THEIR HARD WORK and mark this hack as installed. They could easily charge money for this script but they choose not to.

Give these guys some support.

anyway, the shop will be out soon after vbcredits 1.4. vbcredits 1.4 will hit beta stage in about 12 hours. however, if you want to try it you will have to check out vbcredits.com (I will also announce how you can get a copy for yourself early). after a few days the final version will be out, and then finally announced here. if you havent looked already, the build notes are on the front page and screenshots are in the vbcredits forum. vbcredits 1.4 is a major feature upgrade, worthy of being called 2.0 (but I dont want to call it that lol)

also, since vBCommerce (the shop) is around the corner... it would be *useful* if everyone would tell me what you would like to see in the shop. I have some basic ideas, but your suggestions are what help make it great :-p please tell me in the vbcommerce forum at vbcredits.com though, thanks

I think a great idea would be to have a Bank Robber feature, as the Bank holds members credits as such, it would be cool to have an option to attempt to rob the bank, if you fail you get banned for a period of time or something of that effect.

I was thinking of a steal addon. I dont want it built into the main hack.

I would love the stealing add on, for the pure sake of having everything. As for the premium add ons, isn't the only one a real item shop mod, or is there more?

premium addons: paypal support, and hide hack (charge credits to view content) both can be seen and played with at vbcredits.com, and details on obtaining them

vBCommerce (the shop) and vBCustomizer (colorful usernames, etc etc etc etc) are free

Great MOD. But would love to know how I can I delete the extra break in the navbar. I added the $credit_navbar in the navbar template and it gives an extar line between this and the rest of the content.

I have checked it but it seems to be in the $credits_navbar code as I have replaced it with "some text" and that's what it shows.

The html page shows this code, note the <br /> code in the begining of the line. I just don't know which template to change to get rid of that <br />

anyway, could'nt find a better way to fix this. in the product xml file I took off the <br /> from "$credits_navbar .= '<br /><a href="credits.php'" and reinstalled with overwrite and it's gone now. Now I am happy.

you could have just edited the display credits in navbar plugin...

I'm a fairly new forum owner on VB and this whole 'buying and selling' items at a fictional 'store' is intriguing. These items, are they able to be created by me on a photo program? Also, will they actually have some kind of use? I mean, are you just buying fictional items just for fun or will there be some ability to let them do some kind of fuction? Thank you. :)

users get PMs when they are donated to or awarded via posts. if it is not sending PMs, set a userid in the Sender Userid setting in the options. (usually 1 for the main admin). this has been in there since 1.0 :-p

Yes, although theres a variety of stuff you can eventually sell, but most will probably want an icon of some sort. Also, my itemshop will have programmable items, so they can have a use (there are some predefined types such as "paid subscription" "postbit icon" etc. Also please note that vbcredits is not an itemshop, but the addon I am building still is, vBCommerce

i think it'll be called spam then as users get credit for everyaction
but i would suggest better..
users shoud get pm for each 500/1000/5000 points and we can set manually for each usergroup that option.

I'm just making sure I'm correct here, but the vbcredits site is down currently for everyone, correct? I get this message:
I'm currently moving our site onto our new web server, this will improve speed issues we've been having. I'll try and have it backup asap. We'll also be doing a style update as well. To prep the site for our upcoming release of vBCredits v1.4 and other systems :D *gets all tingling its getting close*
