Hi:
My new moods program works for the members in the regular forums. In the index.php page, there is an x for all of us. The site is http://www.thedachshundnetwork.com/index.php Thanks |
do I need to install anything else with this? or before this

You do not need to install anything before this to work. Is there a certain issue your having? @goldendox: Make sure the images are in the right directory. By checking where the images are suppose to be located by right clicking the x and looking at its properties. @kellyandmark04: Make sure "Auto Edit Member Info" is on. If you still dont see the moods in the members profiles, you can turn it off and edit the template yourself, the auto edit might of not worked. Make sure your template edits are correct. And like deezelpope said make sure you have in your settings the mood manager is on. @raja811: With the mood manager, it tries to autoinsert the template edits for you. If you want to remove the autoinserted code, so you dont have double edits and want to keep where you edited the template, all you need to do is in the settings for the mood manager turn off "Auto Edit Postbit". Hi:
Thank you for your response. If you notice http://www.thedachshundnetwork.com/index.php - the chosen mood is there okay, but when you click to change it, it says "no moods." Yet in the forums, everything is working okay. |
How DO I get this to work with
VB Cpms? |
Hi,
been using this for a while. Just upgraded to the latest RC and although the product installs ok and shows in the navbar, etc there are no moods displayed in the drop down list. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks |
hey Ryan
no problems yet i know one program needed another hack before this could be installed. So I wanted to make sure it was not this one. Quote:

i tried to install this and it didn't work with IE or firefox the drop down doesn't show any moods and when i try to switch it to images it doesnt show either.
|
help
how can I get the mood thing to show up under edit options... I did the last part in the directions and it is still not there????? |
This mod doesn't work with Safari 3.1. Safari doesn't show any moods. Just an empty list. oO
|
This did work in Safari 3.1 before RC3. I was running it up to 3.6.9 absolutely fine within Safari - could something in RC3 be causing a problem?
The auto edits don't seem to work either. |
Correction - it does work! Uninstalled it and re installed and then realised I was testing mainly on my index page which is vbadvanced!
|
I've installed it after RC3 and it doesn't work on any index page (vba/forum).
|
thats also my problem^^^ there is a mod at vba that explains how to get it to work..i still can't get it working.
|
this mod was developed for 3.5-3.6 not 3.7, there will a update once the final version of vb 3.7 comes out.
|
It works fine on RC3 - I've got it working!
make sure you add vbmoods usermoods to the VBA Portal Output Global Variables (under main options) |

^^same here no dice i've been trying to get it work for 2 days now.
|
It seems I'm having the same problem as others. I'm getting the red X.
|
I'm looking at your site, and this is the image path of your moods: http://theflirtingshack.com/images/mood/.gif. Looks to me like there aren't any images in the correct folder. Is the list of moods in your Admin CP, VBulletin Options? Did you name your folder in your FTP 'mood' and not 'moods'?
EDIT: Ok, I think I see...compare yours with mine once: http://mysite.com/index/images/mood/Euphoric.gif |
I'm not sure what I've done wrong. I had it turned off because I gave up for awhile...lol
This is what I'm getting when I right click on the red x http://theflirtingshack.com/images/mood/Angry.gif |

Ok, right now, from the way I'm understanding and seeing it, you've got the mood folder in your homepage's index image folder, not your forum's index image folder. |
it has been moved to the images mood file and the red X still appears.
|
Was working up to 3.7.0 RC3 but the latest upgrade to 3.7.0 RC4 it stops working right. When you change your mood you get:
Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing or mismatched. If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error. |
awesome mod works great

WE need to find the MOOD template and add this: <input type="hidden" name="securitytoken" value="$bbuserinfo[securitytoken]" /> |
I tried to edit the template with that code ya put there but it still is showing a error message. Not sure if I am putting it in the right area though
|
Finally got it working on 3.7.0 RC4 by following the instructions below..
I edited the template quick_mood_change_by_sniper to add the securitytoken bit quoted below and then follwed the instructions here: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1546714 Post No: 8 to add & to the 3 securitytoken bits in the vbulletin global javascript file and then tested - all appears to be ok :) Quote:
