Paul we still need a Cach function, its slowing down the main page very hard :(

popowich 11-21-2007 11:52 AM

Hello,

Was the product that does what I circled in the attachment part of this product? Does it still exist?

I like having the bots separated out by name next to the logged in members and guests.

I can't seem to find that mod for my new forum. Thanks! :)

Paul M 11-21-2007 01:14 PM

Sorry, that is not part of this, and I have no idea what mod it is.

sdebank 11-21-2007 04:49 PM

Is it possible to blocxk Users Awaiting Confirmation from appearinmg? I have a spammer creating usernames to GO TO CHEAPFONEZ TV to gain attention.

popowich 11-21-2007 05:41 PM

Ban their IP, then change the username or delete it.

I usually just ban them and their IP and let it timeout from there though.

Chadi 12-07-2007 07:37 AM

I have a strange problem After upgrading to apache 2.2. (from 1.3x) and php 5 (from 4x) it seems this hack is stuck at 67 visitors past 24hrs. Its been like this for the last 5 hours , yet many members have come and gone since.

What could be the reason?

teenhut 12-07-2007 03:26 PM

Total members that have visited the teen forums in the last 24 hours: BLANK

The most members online over 24 hours was 248, Today at 10:52 PM.

The part where i said BLANK, It used to show there how many were online in the last 24 hours right now but it doesnt now. But instead i see a message below it..

The most members online over 24 hours was 248, Today at 10:52 PM.

I want it to mention, how many are online currently, but it doesnt show anymore.

My site - www.teenhut.net

teenhut 12-07-2007 03:33 PM

Earlier It used to say something like : -

Total members that have visited the teen forums in the last 24 hours: 270

Now it says

Total members that have visited the teen forums in the last 24 hours:

The number is gone.
However if I change this to Members online TODAY instead of last 24 hours. It shows the number. Please help :)

Great plugin! I just have my vBulletin forum just since one day and complete new with it and the first plugin i like to use is this one and it is already installed, no problems with that! But i using the Dutch language translation for the forum and i'm wondering if it is possible to make when users that using the English language see the default text such as "Total members that have visited the forum today:" but users that using the Dutch language see it in the dutch, i understand that i have to translate it myself but where do i have to translate this if it is possible?

Paul M 12-08-2007 10:18 AM

You use the phrase manager to add a translation in dutch.

mauriceo 12-08-2007 09:21 PM

Thanks Paul! I didn't know about this function or even thought it was so easy.

teenhut 12-09-2007 01:09 PM

Paul, you forgot to check my post. Please see the last page. I really need help :(

grahamsmythe 12-09-2007 02:54 PM

Hi - this seems like a great hack, but I can't seem to get it to work! I'm not that experienced!

I downloaded the Who-has-visited.xml file and installed it by going into my admincp/plugins&products/manage products

We're running vBadvanced CMPS (latest version), so how do I get this to show up as a module in vBadvanced, so I can integrate it with my pages?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Paul M 12-09-2007 03:37 PM

This is not a CMPS module - you need to ask at the vbadvanced site for that - I believe someone has released one based on this.

Hello. Why am I getting ignored :confused:

teenhut 12-09-2007 04:03 PM

Thanks a lot for all the help and support you gave me.

It is fixed. I had changed the language phrase to add a word "teen" and i changed it back to standard phrase and it works....

Perhaps because I didn't see your question, I don't always have time to read everything.

I assume your next post was designed to talk your way out of any future help.

Hiro 12-09-2007 11:58 PM

I was just wondering how I would move the hack to below the forum statistics.

Please PM me, thanks.

Paul M 12-10-2007 05:14 PM

Sorry, I don't do support via PM, nor can I answer individual customisation questions.

UltraFanatics 12-10-2007 05:44 PM

Great mod, many thanks

rwoscott 12-16-2007 03:44 AM

In correct Forum.

Who Visited - Rolling 24 Hours = No
I noticed the other day we had our most visitors for the day. Yeh!!

However, it was showing as most users first thing the next morning, as "today" not "yesterday".

Is this a bug, or is there a setting that I need to ensure that it resets the count at local time?

I was about 6am I looked, and it said today, when in actual fact it was yesterday.

I cannot possibly answer that as I have no idea about your forum.

Basically the contents of the Display_Visitors template - but you should really find out why the auto does not work. There is no reason for it not to.

i have 30000 members online 200-400 members

so can i install it

bec im afraid from load:(:(

BobbyBig 12-18-2007 05:33 PM

My advice is dont install this mod for heavy Traffic Forums.
Even with Users online about 150 this inceasing the pageload alot.

I allready asked Paul M for integrating an Update Function to update the User online every 10 Minutes and loading a static Userfile. "He has no time for it".

regards

Chance4Today 12-18-2007 06:15 PM

When might this be updated for the 3.7

theOZer 12-18-2007 06:30 PM

Works in vB3.7.0 Beta 2. In my testvb instance, with Members Who Visited already installed, upgraded from vB3.6.8 PL2. No changes of any kind or re-import needed.

Nobody asked for your advice, and I seriously suggest you sort out your own forum before commenting on things your don't know about. I run this on much larger forums than that without any issues.

Well maybe not for you but that doesn't mean it works for everyone. I had it and did the upgrade and no it isn't working for me

If you already have it installed, upgrading to 3.7 B2 will not affect this, however, you cannot install it on 3.7 as it's dependancies restrict installation to 3.6 only.
