No. As an admin. If I want to manually take a certain amount of points from someone. In ushop you would just put a negative in front of the number. This doesn't work here.

oh, yeah, well you can always moderate that user and change his points :P

Has anybody figured out how to show the memberinfo ebux/estore gifts in the user cp?

You could adapt it to use the subscription system already in place in vbulletin. I'm looking at the Paypal dev site to see exactly how the system works. I'm looking at this from an .net perspective because I want to add a subscription system to one of my sites that runs on asp.net. The principle should be the same. It would be a matter of converting my c# code to php.

I have an idea for a store option: unlimited rep

It would allow the buyer to pos or neg rep someone as many times as they want without spreading it around or abiding by the 24-hour limit.

Also maybe negative rep immunity. :D You could make it so they could still neg you, but it wouldn't subtract rep points.

EDIT: Purchase rep power and purchase rep points could be good too.

EDIT2: You could add a whole Reputation category which consists of all of these features.

Make sure you have the eBux global setting enabled to "Yes". I went to someone's site who didnt give the gifts working and it was because the ebux setting was disabled.

It's set to yes. The gifts show in the postbit..just not the profile with the reason. The template edit is also still there...hmmmm

I did a manual uninstall and reset everything. This hack updates too much for things to be customized. Over the last week I have seen almost 9 incarnations. That's not bad but it's not good.

Well when I did the install of 1.0.8 lastnight it only half installed. So I got errors from everywhere. It first started when I found out that the Form Field weren't passing variables, and then I saw that PM Boxes were blank even with all of the PMs being accounted for. I looked at the estore.php? and it as well wasn't showing up at all. So I was putting one and two together (Half Installation + Fresh Installation of eStore = Disappearing Content)

I still have yet to figure out why there are any install errors in v1.0.8

I was thinking maybe people already had a 'gifts' table in the database, then in v1.0.9, I altered it to change the gifts table to estore_gifts and/or re-create it as well.

My registered users are being told their membergroup is not allowed to use the store. When it's set that they can.

double check that they don't have secondary groups that aren't allowed..

Ther are like 3 places you have to set the usergroup permissions before a usergroup can actually use the store.
Under manage usergroups
under estore options-->manage catagories set each catagory individually
and estore options----> manage options set each option individually

you can sell it back to the shop... "remove" and you can have it set as to how much "points" u get back.. thats what I was talking about

A jail function is nice. If someone steals there is a xx % change to get caught and go to jail. Now that is one thing. It would be hilarious cool to see which users are in prison, so to do that it must be visible. A police cel with in it or behind it the avatars reduced to approximately 50 % or so behind bars. This requires some specific grafics but it's worth it i think.

When in jail thou can not post nor reply for a specific period of time, altered in the admin cp eshop settings but alas...you could buy an escape. That escape could give a random result of success and costs $. Or...others can buy you free. When in jail the user(s) could have an avatar forced in their postbit..a jailbird with striped outfit and a jailnumber on it.

To make thievery realy attractive their must be something to winn for the thief also. By a certain successrate the thief could be rewarded with a special gift, a crime statue or something to show that crimes pay if you are lucky enough to live the day. :)

managed to solve this problem by looking through the "estore.php" in admincp. i am not sure of how appropriate it is to display someone's code in here, but it's a small fix of a misspelling, so i am presuming it's ok. apologies to cmx if that's not allowed. anyway, fix:

line 491 - /admincp/estore.php
