Ok, I unistalled, removed the files from the server, reloaded them, and it still didn't show in the usergroups settings. I gues my next step is to download the whole things again?

Debi 03-09-2008 03:20 PM

I had my other admin download it and try to install it. She got the same result as I did. It's not showing up in the Usergroup permissions.

Yes, for some reason, you can't disable it. Even when it is set to no, it still sends them out.

I installed this and everything seems to work great except that there is no link to "leave feedback" for anyone??

I simply added a code to the Member info template. So, when users click the members profiles, they click Submit Feedback!

Screen Shot! :
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/

Simply add this Code to the Memberinfo template:

Add:
Code:

<a href="itrader_feedback.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$userinfo[userid]"><b>$vbphrase[itrader_submit_feedback] $userinfo[username]</b></a>
After:
Code:

<div>Feedback: (<b><a href="itrader.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$post[userid]">$post[itrader_total]</a></b>)</div>

I couldn't find the first code to put the 'add' code in the memberinfo, I have no idea why and feel stupid :(

Sorry. I modifed the first code for myself instead of using the orginal text.

This is the Orginal that you need to find:

Code:

<if condition="$post['userid']"><div>iTrader: (<b><a href="itrader.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$post[userid]">$post[itrader_total]</a></b>)</div></if>
Then you would add this:

Code:

<a href="itrader_feedback.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$userinfo[userid]"><b>$vbphrase[itrader_submit_feedback] $userinfo[username]</b></a>
Sorry for not being clear the first time!

HP10T 03-16-2008 03:19 AM

Sweet I couldn't find that first stuff again either but realized I never added it myself in the first place to the memberinfo and so that is why I was confused. I added both those codes and successfully added the submit feedback and feedback rating right above the referrals. Only thing i am wondering is where else you could post the submit feedback link to make it easier to get to.

sunnylikbeckham 03-16-2008 10:03 AM

I think I Should Remove It
As i Not Getting Help And Members In My Forum Start Asking Me ,Whats The Prob With It

sunnylikbeckham 03-16-2008 02:22 PM

solved now
anyway thanks

I was in that dilemma also. I found that the Profile was the closest and a easy access for members.

peeceelee 03-18-2008 07:43 PM

does anyone else have an issue in ie6 or ie7 when submitting feedback. the additional comments text area is only 1 or 2 characters wide. works fine in firefox.

*edit* in firefox the text area is normal sized, but none of the font, size, etc options are showing up

Haven't seen that problem in IE7 on any site of that sort

peeceelee 03-19-2008 04:28 PM

i have this on two separate sites and it works perfectly fine in one and i'm still having the issue with the other. does itrader use the same text editor or call the same functions as vbulletin? because the text editor loads up fine when posting and replying but it doesn't load correctly when submitting itrader feedback. any help would be appreciated...is there a certain plugin i need on my server? like htmlarea or something that could be missing?

KeyHunterz 03-21-2008 11:56 PM

I search the forums and saw that this question was asked a few times but no answer was given. Is it possible to manually give a user more then 1 rep at a time? No matter how crude the idea is I need to do this, so if you have any suggestion please reply.

nothing4me 03-22-2008 12:34 PM

How do I disable one person from giving a rating to someone else on his own IP? (To prevent false feedbacks.)

netzrate 03-22-2008 01:20 PM

Great Hack! Thank you, it runs without Problems on the Version 3.8.8 pl2!!

larryd 03-23-2008 02:32 AM

This may have been addressed but I'm not having any luck finding the answer. I've just upgraded from 3.0 to 3.6.8 and I upgraded to iTrader v2.0.1 and I'm now experiencing a problem.

When I click the itrader link I get the following error:

larryd, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

You can see for yourself at http://www.newcelica.org/forums/traderratings.php?

I followed the uprade instructions step for step; please help ;)

DieselTruck 03-23-2008 04:30 AM

Make sure your set to view the Itrader Ratings under the Usergroup settings (Your Usergroup, Admin?) to yes.

larryd 03-23-2008 12:58 PM

That was a stupid mistake however it did not fix the problem. I have just enabled Can View and Can Rate for all user groups and I still can't access the Trader Ratings link on my nav bar.

Maybe go over the installation again. Make sure the files are in the correct place..

Also. This may sound stupid, But... When I installed it. I didn't check the remember me button upon logging in. So I had to go in again to view it.

I just want to be careful not to lose the data from the previous installation. I have logged in and out several times and tried it under different logins though.

magicman17 03-24-2008 06:00 AM

is there anyway to get a leaderboard for itrader?

netzrate 03-24-2008 07:48 AM

In your Postbit_Legacy Template...

Add this:

Code:

<if condition="$post['userid']"><div>iTrader: (<b><a href="itrader.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$post[userid]">$post[itrader_total]</a></b>)</div></if>
I put that in After this:

Code:

$template_hook[postbit_userinfo_right_after_posts]
<div style="padding:$stylevar[formspacer]px">

Also. Where the "Itrader_Total" is in red. If you change that to "itrader_pcnt", If will list a percent instead of how many feedback transactions the user has.

tbrown7552 03-24-2008 11:12 AM

is this 3.7 compliant?

larryd 03-24-2008 01:00 PM

OK I figured out what my problem was... When I upgraded my forums I had a direct link to trader ratings on my nav bar which just linked to traderratings.php which apparently has been changed for this version to itrader.php

now my question is simple. It looks like in the old version there was a main trader ratings page when you were not looking at someones ratings which could be accessed just by going to traderratings.php however when I try to go directly to itrader.php I'm getting my personal trader rating. Is there an equivalent in the new version.

NEW -> http://www.newcelica.org/forums/itrader.php?
OLD -> http://www.newcelica.org/forums3/traderratings.php?

Compare how the old one worked with the new one and let me know if the new one has the same option as the old?

thank you very much :)
Great!!

larryd 03-25-2008 02:39 PM

Can anyone tell me if the new itrader has a default screen like the old one used to? When I browse directly to itrader.php I see my own information..

yeah I have the same question, anyone tried this with the vb 3.7 version?

Jase2 03-26-2008 02:39 PM

I don't think it works correctly in the members profile.

I'm going to contact Jason and ask if whether I can modify it to work for my forums. If permission his given, (which I don't think so since he hasn't been active for a while) then I will release it, or I'll team up with Jason and take future requests ect. Likewise, I sent him a PM.

Regards Jason :)

If you plan on modifying this. Are you also going to take other suggestions that was directed to Jason a while back?

larryd 03-27-2008 10:52 PM

I really thought my question was simple.. anyone running this can tell me if it has a default page like the old version did or not?

Whats the old version?

vithorius 03-28-2008 10:09 AM

Hi everybody!

I need some help on installation. I run a portuguese drummers forum and I'm having some difficulties on the 3rd step of installation:
[3. Edit all the usergroup permissions (all groups default to no access).]

I just don't know were will I edit all those usergroup permissions... What must I search for...?

I made the first two steps: 1. Upload and 2. Install iTrader Product via Plugin Manager using the provided XML file, and it was just OK!

Please, could someone help me? I know this must be such a lame/beginners question, but I just don't know were will I do this...

(I believe that this could be a portuguese/english translation problem as my english is not that much good on technical stuff... I already went from top to bottom in the AdminCP and found just nothing where I could edit, or just click relating to iTrader and usergroup permissions...)

My board uses vB 3.6.8 with the default theme.

Thank you so much!

King regards and greetings from Portugal,

Vithorius

christian8a 03-28-2008 10:28 AM

This was a nice hack, too bad is not supported anymore.

Most of it works still, but some stuff is gone so I wouldnt install it or upgrade if you already have been using one version
