Installed and working nicely with WP so far. Out of curiosity... how does it know what usergroup to assign the vB user to in WP? Does it just default to Subscriber?

Right.

Also, any timetable on the Joomla version? I'm excited to get my hands on that.

We are unable to open it so far, because it depends on the certain factors we are dependent on. Please welcome to keep watching the thread and you will be definitely apprised.

Well, I'm willing to throw a little extra in the donation I'm planning if it will expedite the process. ;)

Have you thought about using jfusion from jfusion.org it has an intergrated system that works, with joomla, vbulletin and gallery2, and other software as well. I have been using it for a couple of years now, with minimal problems.

I have it installed but it doesn't seem the sync properly, though everything is installed correctly. This program seems much simpler to configure and maintain too.

Their solution is welcome to be used keeping in mind that the master users table in their case is Joomla. If you have your websites hosted on different hosts and access to database is firewalled, or your websites are located on different domains I'm not sure these are supported by their product and their approach had a lot of the limitations influenced us to start with vBSSO some time ago. At that moment we didn't use Joomla and were not going to use it for a long time.

vBSSO doesn't perform a full sync as soon as it is installed. It tries to link account as soon as account is used. Anyway in case of the tech questions you are always welcome to drop me a PM message.

Can anyone help ?

I'm getting "page not found" when clicking platforms & access settings in the acp.

Probably me being dumb but a point in the right direction would be appreciated :)

It might happen if you didn't download all the files from upload folder(installation package). Could you please check if you uploaded everything from upload/admincp/ to forum/admincp folder?

The only file in the admin folder that's downloaded is vbsso.php is that correct ?

Right. If you named admincp folder differently in your vBulletin configuration, vbsso.php should be uploaded to that folder. Is it still saying "page not found"?
