i see this on forum

Feature suggestion: Let us moderate the keywords..

oddmud 02-22-2010 04:04 PM

i've had it installed for about 24 hours, still no keywords have been added. I've also used google to land on the certain pages as a test, nothing added.

oddmud 02-23-2010 12:30 AM

ok it put in some key words by search today, then ran the "Seo Forum daily task" and it removed the key words that were there previously? what's going on with that?

Not sure if this mod is the reason but my indexed pages in google have gone from 45,721, to 8,947, 1 month after installing this mod

Or it might be possible that something changed after upgrading from 4.0.1, to 4.0.2 as it happened about a week after this

There is a school of thought that says that Google doesn't like these automatic "tag cloud" type blocks.

If thats the case then this mod isn't good for seo at all...... as if people can't find pages on a search engine then it can't add the keywords anyway.....

I'm going to dissable it for a month and see if my pages get reindexed,

I also use IBP to check my pages and according to that this is doing harm for my target keywords and it suggests removing them for better results

sorry mate, IBP is a heap of sh1t - as are any "seo programs" that cost a hundred or so dollars.

Ive been doing this professionally for 5 years, and have worked in online gaming for a few years, specialising in organic search.

but if you dont like it, then dont use it. simple...
