Im a bit unclear on what your actually question is ?

beatyourtruck 06-29-2010 06:26 PM

Sorry Paul. The link shows in the Community dropdown but it gives me this:

vBulletin Message
Flashchat does not appear to be correctly installed.

Is this an error the integration element has delivered or is it from FC? Not sure if I have screwed up the integration or the FC install? I tried a complete remove and install of FC last night and get the same error.

Paul M 06-29-2010 07:36 PM

Thats an error message from the integration - it cannot find your flashchat installation.

beatyourtruck 06-30-2010 12:51 AM

Ok. Thanks Paul. I did install FC into a folder with a special name. I dug through the XML and found a location to change....I'll give that a whirl! :)

EDIT - not worth the time. changed my folder back to chat, reinstalled and everything works fine so far. Sorry to have wasted your time.

Paul M 06-30-2010 07:30 AM

No problem. Thats what the red message is about on the main post. :)

Everything has installed correctly and seems to be working fine other than the auto login. I have installed everything properly and triple checked my actions. It seems that the username that flashes by on the bottom is int_1 which is not even close to my username. Could you maybe point me in some direction to get this chat communicating with my user database? Does it matter if you use stateless or registered during the install process? I used registered. Anyways, the problem is that it says invalid username and or password when logging in flashcaht through vbulletin automatically. Thank you

VB 4.0.2
FC 6.0.8

Please read the support note in purple. :)

* Flashchat can be displayed embedded inside a 'standard' vBulletin Page (i.e. not full screen).

How can it be displayed fullscreen?

Can this be setup/used for person to person chat only ?

Thats really a Flashchat question, not a question about this mod - however, yes, F/C has the ability for members to have private chats with each other.
