No problemo.

Here's how it appears on my forums, windowboxed: http://www.aionsource.com/forum/news...ource-com.html

Here's proof that it's obviously a widescreen encode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?fmt=22&v=TjalKQMf_Ps

The windowbox on Youtube is due to the source files already being windowboxed before I started editing in Vegas. You can see that the 4:3 box on my website makes the black border larger. If I manually set the HTML wrapper for HD encodes to be wide (taking out the $ameinfo[width] and height arguments and replacing them with hardcoded values) then the video will display as intentioned.

Does FireFox have any special settings that would autoplay certain videos? Because I haven't encountered this in FireFox before.
Firefox doesn't support Windows Media embedding very well at all, so I'm no suprised it doesn't obey the autostart setting. Another one of those semantics things MS fights over with the entirety of the educated internet, trying to get everyone else to adopt because they're to lazy to do things right the first time around. At least it's not Apple and Quicktime, or we'd have a bunch of rabid fanboys jumping down our throats to make their little hippy club happy.

Whats going on with that?

Other links work just fine but we just discovered this tonight.

Other links from that site work, just not when you link to a members profile.

I have the master definition file installed.

I remember someone mentioning about Facebook.com videos....was it a 'no-go' on those?

What's supposed to be embedding in that post? Because I've never made a definition for FPSBanana before.

I was waiting for someone to send me some video embed code, since there doesn't seem to be a way to browse videos on the site. I've got one so far, and I can compare them to the videos on mine to see if it will work.

This video is playing, for me at least, in widescreen/letterbox format and not windowbox. I see the upper and lower black bars are larger, and is to be expected with the players aspect ratio being less rectangular then the video. But I don't see any windowboxing or pillaring occurring, neither in IE nor in FireFox.

Mind if I see an example of a link not converting?

Sure thing. I mixed up two video sites by the way. I was saying MyVideo when I meant Clipfish.

Here is a post that I inserted a clipfish video link into:

The demo is my development area, so not all threads you see are working websites. Only go by what I have listed in the first post as supported websites.

Ah, yes. ClipFish has apparently done some updating. I believe I mentioned this in the other thread last night. Since ClipFish is now blocking my country from viewing the videos, I'm going to need some sample URLs and embed codes to work with, and then someone will have to test the definitions for me. I'd need at least ten URLs with their corresponding embed codes to get started.

I'll get on it right now. :)

Okay, here we go. Appearently Clipfish doesn't allow sharing of music videos (which they themselves upload and/or classify as such) or "special video" (when they show exclusive clips of TV shows that they are partners with). For all other videos, it's ok.

Also with the links, there are variations. It can be: http://www.clipfish.de/video/2810695/family-guy/ or http://www.clipfish.de/video/2810695/

Depending on if you take the URL in the browser's address bar or their "share this" link. The share link is without the title, the browser address bar is with.

I have attached a text file with 10 videos.
