does this give you a way to log chats?

I'm getting the following error: "http authentication not permitted" Why?

I have a Professional PLUS account.

Okay... got everything working and I LOVE this program already... There are a few bugs/requests/changes that need to be addressed in the next version of this mod for Addonchat...

1 - uncached templates (I already fixed this in my version)
2 - support for the community link in 3.8 (already fixed in my version)
3 - better templates. I rewrote all my templates, to handle 100% widths.
4 - better who's chatting template...

The who's chatting page should NOT be its own page. It should be on top of the forum home, the same way this mod does it: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=196466

I've made my own version of this product (attached)... it brings support for vb3.8 and who's chatting on forumhome.

As far as I can tell this doesn't have any adverse effects. Everything still looks just as it should and is working properly.

The only problem I have left, is I don't know how to exclude the addonchat files from integration with the default Homepage page that cmps has. Hopefully I'll get that figured out tomorrow, because right now you still can't enter the chat from that individual page.

I am a little confused. Addonchat plugin conflicts with the Vbadvanced cmps only when it's integrated with vBa-cmps-created page, right?

I don't understand. Please explain. Are you saying if we install this product after the AddonChat product we'll have a "who's chatting" box somewhere? Or install it in place of?

You might want to take the icon size out of your product. Took me a while to figure that out.. massive icons :) Also, an option to toggle the forum home bit would be nice. I ended up editing your new product to remove that box.

You uninstall the current product and install his. Although it puts the who's chatting box at the top of the forum rather than the bottom and there is also the icon thing I mentioned above. Having the chat stuff under Community is so much nicer though.

A few weeks ago I upgraded forum to 3.8. I'm wondering if this version of addonchat is fully compatible?

A few members have reported having problems getting into chat. Even though they're logged into the forum, when they load chat it keeps say "invalid username or password".

Can anyone help this with? Is it a cookie problem? Anything I can do to help stop it? It's really irritating.

This works pretty good, however if you want to take advantage of anything vBulletin wise (other than it auto logging you in), you're going to have to pay a minimum of $125.00 a year. Only the Professional PLUS version uses any of the vBulletin usergroup options, etc.

Anyway, since it's per year, I've decided to keep looking at other products. I'd of paid it had it been a onetime fee.

Good stuff otherwise though.
