IDK what to do, can someone look at it for me? Yblegit.com

I am having the same issue, Radio is online, and people listening, but on forum it says " Currently our shoutcast server is down"

It was working fine before...

I am on a dedicated server (CentOS 4.4) using

vB 3.6.4
Apache v1.3.36
PHP 4.4.2
MySQL 4.1.21

Shoutcast hosted Remotely on Windows :

SHOUTcast Server Version 1.9.7/win32

scast_home.xml < has 777 permission.

Thank You!

Itdevil,

Yes it can ping the shoutcast server. (this was never an issue)

The problem is the web server's ability to ping an external IP on ports such as 8000 (or your custom shoutcast server port ) and get back data. Web providers will shutdown almost all external port queries to ports other than 80.

By request many hosts: (unless you can do it yourself)
-- will open the port you need.
-- has a custom port to funnel all traffic through.
-- will tell you they can not help you.

Until you get an answer.

Configure your shoutcast server to output on port 80.
- (unless you also have a web server on that shoutcast server)

Reset shoutcast status

For some reason, I get the "This Radio is offline" message, but the server is up, and I can connect to it.

scast_home.xml has 0777 CHMOD.
I'm not sure where i'm going wrong.

i have a problem also :)

xxx Radio: (/ @ kbs)

No kbps info there. what can be the problem?

hawks_mp 03-21-2007 10:15 PM

Is there anyway anyone can help me with setting up Shoutcast to play songs off of a server instead of my PC. I'm having no luck figuring it out, and I'm willing to pay. Thanks.

Any chance that this can be used with realtime/ajax?

This will allow you to place $scast in say the header template or navbar template that shows up on each page.

I did this and put it in my NavBar but now the Stats and History wont drop down... any idea on how to fix that?

Anyone?
