ANYONE WITH PROTOTYPE this mod is NOT compatible and will lock at refreshing the chatbox and not load. The programmer needs to fix this issue as jquery and prototype play nice with each other which means it is his code directly causing it. If you need more info and js error logs and so on let me know I can send them to you. Has to do with your js files.

So how bout we get a ton of people to come on there and start bashing that? Are you 2? Why not contact VBdev direrctly. The guy is extremely nice and you gotta come in talking trash.

Why not spend more time troubleshooting it? Or bring the errors to the table. This stuff really irritates me.

This has nothing to do with bashing and no direct attack was made. I am sorry if you took it the wrong way. I am just letting people know an issue and the owner so he can fix it. It may be the cause of why people in past couple pages mentioned not loading. I know and understand he wont be back for a few weeks. I am just letting people know an issue so they can be aware and can either turn off any mod that uses prototype or turn off this chatbox. It is totally up to them. I am actually looking at his files to give the solution and a fix for it and send it to owner. I have the error logs and will send it to owner no reason to post it as won't make much sense to anyone who doesn't know javascript and coding. So again no bashing and no direct attack or harmful feelings towards developer at all sorry if it seemed that way. Here to help is all.

I'm guessing protytpe is yours? After looking around, Donation system? If there is an interoperability issue by all means lets hammer it out. (VBDev is on vacation until the 30th) but I've got a ton of time into debugging it on just about every freaking server lol. I've noticed it's either the .js, CRSF, or Mod Security which is mainly only on *ix based machines and not IIS based. If you need help looking into it (although your a coder so I'm sure you are way ahead of me on this) just shoot me a msg and I'll gladly offer help.

Now that I think about it, what you found might also be one of the reason the show oldest first has issues displaying based off that code. Who knows..... After looking at SQL and every code and OS since Friday my brain is fried.

Prototype not mine it is just like jquery. The two play nice with each other and have been for years. Since vB uses YUI most scrips SHOULD be made with it and not try to do jquery or prototype. You end up loading js scripts multiple times sometimes 4 times or more and becomes counter productive. Again looking into issue now will let you know what I come up with. Have to load this software on test site to really test.

Ok. Yeah, I thought it was a plugin, that's why I'm like, sheesh. It's not even something on this site so that makes total sense why nobody ever heard of this issue. Would be nice not to have to do one of multiple different fixes for that loading issue for once ;)

I have recently upgraded to the new version. Now there are at least 4 members who can't see any of the chats. They see the box, the BB code icons, and who's online, but no actual chats!!

I tried signing in as two of them, and I can see the chats just fine signed in as them. Here is a screenshot of what they are seeing:

Any suggestions? Also - one other weird thing, the chatbox was working fine for one of them this morning, and nothing was changed in the meantime.

EDIT: Two of them have just told me they can see it with IE but not with Firefox, but I use Firefox and I can see it fine.
