Everybody's circumstances are different. Complexity of code and what any one person can personally do have no bearing on those who's circumstances are completely different.

I have had your chatbox installed for a few weeks now and think it's excellent, thank you.

I am installing a custom style with a sidebar and the chatbox seems to be pushing the sidebar outwith the borders of the forum (see pics). I have the chatbox displayed on forumhome only so you can see that the sidebar is displayed fine on forumdisplay.

Is there anything you can do with the code to correct this please?

I tried changing the width of the chatbox to 50% and it does half the width of the chatbox but the sidebar is still pushed out.

EDIT: Disregard this post...it was fixed by reducing the 'Last Thread Title Maximum Displayed Characters'.

I don't know why but it somehow ignores CSS rules defined in hack elements.
Click on the message icon, then on the next page click Edit. It's the quickest way atm...

Curious how many concurrent users it could handle - or would that be totally dependant on the server?

i still have the problem with the time:

when i post a message at 14:19 it shows it posted at 14:02
when i post again a message at 14:50 it still shows 14:02

this are the settings in my ACP:

Date format (blank to disable): %d-%m
Time format: %H:%I

Whenever somebody wites a "special character" such as our spanish "ñ" or á, é, etc, the message is not displayed... Is there anyway to fix this???

Thans Iknow to add $cybchatbox to make it show, but where and what template to make it show on al pages??? Is it the NAVBAR Template???

Anyway, today I try to add it on vBa cmps frontpage. I did exactly as instructed, the chatbox is there below navbar, but it only shows message "Loading...".

The chatbox "inside" the forum is ok. But the one shows in vBa cmps frontpage keeps "loading...".

Does anyone know how to solve it? :confused:

Can I also be a pain and ask for a little help with the above please? I exported vB_shout and changed the VALUES to `id`, `userid`, `userip`, etc. Is this correct?

If I then import vB_shout into vB-cyb_chatbox I'm getting #1062 - Duplicate entry '3' for key 1 :confused:

You should remove IDs or empty ChatBox before importing vBShout messages.

Can you add extra channels in the next version?? Have main chat, and then extra admin defined channels for users to use, based on usergroups?? I had to switch over to MCG EVO due to that option, but if you did that, I would drop EVO in a heartbeat :D

it is showing up on the homepage appearing as a module, but im not able to modify/move the chatbox as a module...???

its not in my module list....

how do i add it?

Would it be possible to add the abilty to remove the edit message feature from certain usergroups?

You must not have it enabled for guests, as I don't see anyting.

In any event, the vBa option is just to enable the ChatBox on that page. It's doesn't integrate it into vBa or turn it into a module or anything like that. It just enables it on a vBa page the same way it would be enabled on any other page.

My times are way off in the chatbox, but they are correct on the foum and I have checked the date and time options under vboptions and all are correct any help??? Thanks

hay... im facing a problem

when me or other user write something in chatBox with color & different size....it shows well then.

but few hours later it loses its color & size & autometically [size] & [color] tag added before / after the text.
