will there be categories for the journals? can the users adjust the look of their journal in anyway?

journal categories do not exist however in the next version i plan to give users the options of coloring their journals

thanks for the suggestion but as of now the features for this version are locked, i will add that to my list of features for the next version;)

ok the journal buddy system is almost fully installed into the journal system, many thanks to Wonko the Sane for allowing me to use his code for journal buddies. Also to Oblivion Knight who helped me with getting permission to use the journal buddy system by Wonko the Sane. Again many thanks to Wonko the Sane:)
