But putting the side-bar on all pages tends to slow down the loading of some pages, especially showthread, so a good case for just including it on forumhome. I followed the instructions elsewhere in this thread to put the code intended for the header below $navbar and the code intended for the footer above $footer in the forumhome template. The sidebar could additionally be added to other pages in the same way by editing their respective templates. The bonus is that the navbar is full width.

I had a previous install of this hack, and had to upgrade vB to 3.07. The adcolumns aren't working now, and I was wondering how to "Uninstall" it so I can reinstall it clean?

EDIT: I only need to know how to unintsall it from the database.

I had it where I thought it went but it was out of align. When I added the <center> </center> the ads stopped working... I just need to know where in this code the template to put the code... this should be easy...

where do I paste it??

everything is working great except after i installed the Microstats hack i noticed this:

Page generated in 0.17158 seconds with 9 queries (2 queries for uncached templates)
Uncached templates: adcolumn_left (1)
Uncached templates: adcolumn_right (1)

Im guessing that uncached templates are a bad thing for performance. How would i go about getting the adcolumn templates to be cached like all the other templates? I wont be editing them anymore so they may aswell be cached?

oh god, i am a doofus. i was trying to edit admincp.

I was going ot do this. But in my global.php file I didn't have the very first thing that I had to change. I am running version 3.0.6 Would that be the reason? Thanks

The line still exist in 3.0.7, didn't check 3.0.6 but it should be there.

Which global.php did you edit? in your root folder or in admincp, you should edit the one in the forum root.

on default skin of vb3.07 this installs fine.On my other skin it simply wont show - hav done the template edits and double checked they are there but it wont show at all.
Do notice it has pushed the board a bit to the left but thats about it - No box at all.

Also as reported before there is 2 uncached templates in this hack as well.
