Found it. But the hack does not seam to work, If I click refresh nothing happens.

You need to have new posts, for refresh to work.

Since upgrading to 4.2.1 the live updated posts don't always have the quick reply, edit post, quote, etc., area showing it's just blank:

I'm unable to replicate this issue. Can you try disabling all other products and seeing if the issue still occurs?

As per the OP of all our mod releases, you should post on our support forum for quicker support.
vBulletin.org support is always going to be delayed due to the fact that it's much harder for us to support multiple products on this site as opposed to our own.

Yeah, my dev board and our live forum both run 4.2.1.

Disabled products and it still happens, not sure what to do. Everything refreshes except for the part where you can click quote, reply, etc.

If the product is disabled then it's obviously not an issue in our mod, you may wish to disable all hooks via the vBulletin Options setting and if it still occurs, contact vBulletin support.
