hmmm I do use 4.2 and version 4.0.3 of the hack. The new 4.0.3 is edited specially to work with vB 4.2 but actually it should even work with 4.1.x. Maybe there is an issue. Do you have a testing board where you can install 4.2 of vbulletin and then try to use with vBux/vBPlaza again?

I'm afraid not...

I'll try this: uninstall vbBux/vbPlaza completely, update and then install again. See if it works.

I did the update, reinstalled vbBux/vbPlaza...but the bug wasn't fixed.

I'm afraid I will have to uninstall this mod. It doesn't work as intended for me. I'm sorry :(

Hello, i am having some issues with vbbux vbplaza. In my postbit legacy the points, bank, and donate do not insert into divs and align themselves with the rest of the fields as they should, for example look here http://www.drdiscuss.com/doctors-lou....html#post2284

Also, in http://www.drdiscuss.com/vbplaza.php there is a big alignment discrepancy between richest users and most sold items.

I love your product and would like to use it on my site. Please advise on how to correct these matters.

Best Regards

Or alternatively, i would appreciate it if someone can point me in the direction of removing the richest users and most sold items from the top of the vbplaza template.

For some reason users are not receiving points for posting or making threads, I don't know if they get them for anything.

The usergroup permissions are correct, the vbbux system is activated. One thing, the Points per thread/post multiplier in each section, does that actually multiply it by the designated number? I think it does so I removed those.

I just can't see what I'm doing wrong really.

Thanks

Hello there, this can come from many aspects:

1. Did you enter a vBux value (not 0) for posting in a thread in the usergroup settings?
2. Did you enter a vBux value (not 0) for posting in the forum itself?
3. Did you clear your system cache and using the other maintenance features that vbux/vbplaza brings?

Try this 3 steps. If it still doesn't work write me again.
Maybe I can have a look on your board.

Regards

Alex

Thanks for the reply Alex.

1. This is set correctly , I checked each usergroup.
2. For this, it says 'SF Points Per Thread Multiplier ' and 'SF Points Per Post Multiplier' does this actually multiply the users points by this number? I just want to +250 for posts and +1000 for threads.
3. I cleared the cache and wasn't sure about the rebuild post points as the points are already correct. I don't want them receiving more points for all their posts if that's what this does. I just want them getting points for posting/making threads.

Thanks

Hello there,
you are right. you put in absolute point values to the usergroups and additionally a multiplier so you can give additional bonus for some special sub(forums). if you don't want this you can keep the default forum multiplier (1)
The points you want to give can be set in the per usergroup settings.
