It means you might want to disable it or uninstall it for the time being. Read this thread - http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...ne-please-help

It will tell you about it

Valter has posted here to confirm a fix has been issued for those who haven't been following the progress in the thread. I assume the new fixed version is 5.0.3

Oh man, totally locked out of my website. Having to restore a recent backup. It's pretty messy!

EDIT: Totally should have read and listened to that email about disabling this plug in.

The latest version may still contain an issue. Or it may be unrelated to this hack. People are still getting hacked.

Krazeguy 05-05-2011 12:00 AM

I simply disabled it, see what happens now I guess.

Please let us know if you still get hacked or not, after you have deactivated this addon.

You don't need to do a restore of the database, just us the tools.php file and instructions and you should be able to turn back on the forum and also reset your admin as well. That is what I did. There is a new user there with super admin privileges that you need to delete which is teamadimus all other fields are empty. I am going through restoring the titles manually and checking that they are all correctly set as well, very time consuming but I only have 600 users. Also I don't know the SQL terminology well enough to do it in a command line in myphpadmin.

I was hacked about 5 days ago. Lost everything on my site except my members and posts.

*** I'm in no way saying this was the why I was hacked!!! ( PM for details of the redirect setup if you want ), I honestly don't know what happened, just thought it was interesting.***
