Its now just started killing my "newthread" page :(

Its somehow is removing ALL permissions to anyone to create a new thread..

Reply, pm etc all work just newthread.php its working..

I was running 4.0.2 with the problem and now have 4.0.3 with the same problem..

Anyone found a work around ?

Noway that your problem is related to this mod. This mod is not changing permissions of any sort.

I confirm that I have the identical issue.

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/

I am not sure if it is a coincidence, but it started doing so as soon as I upgraded to 4.0.3 and it even happens in FireFox.

Mind you that it does not occur on my 24" monitor which uses a large resolution but it does occur on my 15" laptop which uses a lower resolution.

Any fix please?

Suggestion to correct the forumdisplay issue and display the sidebar there really next to the left forum content. On plugin hook sidebar_fdispaly change
Code:

$sidebarext_search = '<div id="pagetitle" class="pagetitle">';
To
Code:

$sidebarext_search = '<div id="above_threadlist" class="above_threadlist">';

If this is happening then it most likely a vb4 problem not this mod issue, i guess; and as you said it is not happening with wide monitors.

I suppose it would be folly to ask if it could be enable on a per user basis. I ask because some of my members want it and others don't . And I'm tapdancing to please both. :rolleyes:

They can certainly hit the 'collapse' button. But the problem is the sidebar still loads, so on slower connections collapsing actually takes more time than not, so really it only helps to save screen space.

I'm beginning to wonder why anyone would actually 'need' it everywhere. There's nothing too particularly useful in it. Why do your users say they like it everywhere? Or are they really just saying they like it 'anywhere'?

What's really got me amazed is how many admins are removing the collapse button, actually forcing the sidebar on people.
