In my opinion, you shouldn't be an admin if you're going to be reading private messages without just cause. I take the privacy of my members very seriously, and have written my Terms of Service to reflect the situations in which I feel I may need to access private messages. My other administrators are held to the same code of conduct, and anyone found to be acting otherwise would be immediately banned.

I will half to agree with you 100%. Reading of someone's PMs should only be done if they are abusing the PM system or you feel the system is being used for illegal activity.

When reading a PM I get this in the "TO" field:

a:1:{s:2:"cc";a:1:{i:2;s:8:"testuser";}}

It shows the name "testuser" but there is other stuff in there too.

I had to think hard about this mod.

But I've been getting some suspicious activity on my boards from people in this little country the USA is currently at war with (no hint here, you know where). The activity is enough for me to want to verify my suspicions before I take it further.

So this mod is great for that.

Has anyone had trouble uninstalling this?

Not very hard remove the file from FTP lol.
