So am I right in thinking that with the fix it still increases loads considerably, or is it now a negligable difference?

IE still crashing for me, not sure why .. going to go over all the code again, after I've had some sleep.

I can't seem to get my messages to show. Everyone has the correct permissions, I'm using VB 3.5, etc. This is all it shows: HERE

Any clue to why it says I have new messages, yet not showing them once clicked? Also is it away to tie in the blinking red private message alert hack (the one they use here) with this hack?

I am sorry but I have never tried MkPortal and vB Pager was written for vBulletin only!

I haven't upgraded my forum to vb 3.5 yet  poor me, so I am not using the hack yet.
I just did all the work on a test board, and I can not really tell if there is loads on the server or not, I ain't got a lot of online users on my test boards.

Are you saying that you are not getting pager messages? or you got them but when you go to your pager messages inbox it's not there?
Have you tried your sent items? cos a lot of people never try looking at their sent items and it always says there is number of messages stored!
The total number of pager messages you got to see in the navbar are messages from both, your inbox and your sent items folder, so please do check both.

Uae, the upgrade from Microsoft seems to have done the trick with respect to IE crashing. But, we'll continue to test.

Amazing piece of coding. Nice job.

Thanks for pointing me to the sent items box. That did the trick.

For the next version, it is very hard to see the dropdown arrow next to the word inbox. Actually, it is hard to see the word inbox if you have a dark style. Perhaps you can make it bigger or in a color that stands out more?

I am not getting pages (messages or whatever) at all in the inbox. If I log into a test account on a different browser and send my username a page (or the opposit) the text in the navbar says "Pager Messages: Unread 1, Total 1." but when I click Pager Messages, it says "No Pager Messages to Display!" I can see the pager message(s) in the sent box of the one that sent it, and the numbers seem to always be correct either way, but the messages never show in the inbox. I am running 3.5.3 by the way, it that makes any difference.
