Unfortunately, there is no such possibility. But you can write your own plugin, for this reason, we have an API.

Thank you for the reply,

Enabling Safe mode solved my first problem,

I have already set my forum URL without trailing slash ... what would you recommend ?

And regarding the URL rewrite : Thank you for the note but the problem is that vbsso urls are dynamic (I mean log out and such) so there should be a some kind of plugin which force re-writing the url like what vbseo or dbseo are doing.

Thank you again

I would be so thankful if you help me with my problem.

Thank you

Sent you a PM. Not sure if you got it. Thanks!

When accessing the Mediawiki page Spezial:Vbssoconfig, we get this warning:
Quote:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in .../wiki/extensions/vbsso/apivbsso.php on line 202
It seems like vbsso_get_vb_usergroups() returns null. Could this be a configuration problem?

ibeauty 10-03-2014 09:24 AM

Is there any hope for this to work with vB5 ?

TiKu 10-08-2014 08:05 PM

To keep spammers out of our Mediawiki, I'm removing as many user rights as possible. I wonder whether vBSSO would still work, if I disable user registration in Mediawiki by this setting:
Code:

$wgGroupPermissions['*']['createaccount'] = false;
Has anyone tried this?

Regards
TiKu

I think we have... people still get around it somehow.... vBSSO said it was a wiki issue... I kinda doubt it

arrarrgee 10-08-2014 08:29 PM

I installed vbsso as well as VB Credits Deluxe...Could you please let me know why what is it that VBSSO is doing that is preventing userdata_postsave hook from being executed correctly during new user registration. I am trying to allocate some points to the user during registration and it isnt working correctly because of the above. Help pls

Does anyone else have any display issues when using custom avatars? On my install avatars from the VBulletin avatar library work just fine, but any custom avatars show as broken images in WordPress.

I notice that the image src for custom avatars is the following:

For avatars from the library it is

In my usage no: Review the script and see if it will match what you want, however.

Hi,

With the vBSSO plugin, you only need to log in once to access both vBulletin and WordPress.

If you have any custom user managers, I don't think that they're going to help as vBSSO simply synchronises vBulletin -> WordPress, I'm not sure if it's vice versa or not.

I'm very happy you released a Joomla extension. Is it planned to integrate some kind of User Group Association?

And I'm getting the following Error on changing users:

Code:

Communication: Platform returned error code: save_error
Communication: Platform returned error message: Can't save new data.
Communication: Platform returned error data: {"id":0,"name":null,"username":null,"email":null,"password":"***","password_clear":"***","block":null,"sendEmail":0,"registerDate":"2014-11-06 21:13:36","lastvisitDate":null,"activation":null,"params":"{}","groups":["1"],"guest":1,"lastResetTime":null,"resetCount":null,"requireReset":null,"aid":0,"password2":"***"}

Hello,

Am using vbsso to connect between vbulletin forums - v4.2.1 and Wordpress v3.8.1.
Both the platforms have Google Analytic code installed for tracking purposes. When I use GA debugger tool in Google Chrome I notice that the visitor ID changes when I move between the two sections - wordpress and vbulletin. As the visitor ID changes between these two sections, bounce rate is high.

How do I fix this issue? Have also reported the issue here - http://vbsso.com/report-an-issue/
Appreciate your earliest response.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Today I opened registration in my customer's forum, but it doesn't work. It shows the redirection loop error.

Would you please help me to solve this issue ?

Thank you very much.

thunderclap82 12-04-2014 05:36 PM

I'm currently using JFusion. I would like to move over to using VBSSO, but am concerned by migrating user information may be lost. Is there anything special we need to know if moving from a different program?

Are you trying to login through WordPress? If so... The entire point of vBSSO is that you log in through vBulletin. If you need to for some reason log in through WordPress, disable the WordPress plugin through your admin dashboard and then do so.

My apologies if I didn't understand your question correctly.

thanks, but you didnt understand my question.
vbsso has the ability to work as slave platform that allow to login via wordpress and update vbulletin session.
currently vbulletin marked as master in vbsso connection settings - "vBSSO behaves as master platform", and i would like to change the state to work as slave.

thanks,
Dooby

Thank you for your question.
This release introduces the new feature when vBulletin can act as slave platform. But note please,
vBulletin can act as slave in case of connecting it to another vBulletin platform only(!). In your case,
vBSSO will work only as a master platform with WordPress.
