Sorry, I'm not seeing that at all. I've tried logged in to Facebook with Chrome and logged out of Facebook with IE10.

Maybe it is something added by 3rd party Internet/firewall software. It is a valid warning, lots of people could fake a Fcebook login to steal passwords.

But whatever it is, it is not caused by this mod- it's either from Facebook or 3rd party software.

I'm having issues all of a sudden as well.. I only see the word tweet now..no like box. Ive done nothing to the site but have noticed Vbseo is down so I am seeing errors in the VBseo panel..not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Crap, Facebvook connect is not working and neither is the Pinterest link. What is going on?

Yeah me too, for about 6 weeks, the Facebook share buries itself per se and you cant use it, my Facebook connect is broke also.

Any chance this has to do with Vbseo going down? My PInterest button isnt working either for some reason..

If Facebook Connect isn't working then it could be Facebook changes causing the issue- the mod is still working fine on my site- www.qapla.com/mods/ for Facebook and Pinterest and Twitter.

That site is still 4.2.1 but it also works fine on my 4.2.2 test site.

For Facebook Connect be sure you have made this fix if you aren't on 4.2.2 yet-

If Facebook or Twitter buttons aren't showing it means likely some kind of JavaScript error is blocking their execution on your page- perhaps broken VBSEO is the issue but I don't know for sure, I've never had VBSEO and have no way to test against it. I do know they are working fine on my non-VBSEO sites.

I just removed Vbseo. Looking into other issues. I also just upgraded to the latest VBulletin and updated my theme as well with still no fix.

Thanks for the link. My problem is not that there is no publish option. There is nothing at all showing for facebook including in the share mod. Twitter is not working either. this started before I uninstalled VBseo and upgraded.

I may be missing it but I am not seeing any facebook or sharing mod in your forum?

Using this great mod on a 4.2.2 forum. Facebook likes (links on Facebook) causing issues with Zbblock (Spam blocking script).

The mod seems to be creating strange links such as:

Any thoughts / inputs on this would be much appreciated.

P.S. Facebook fix (as in previous post in this thread) is installed on my vBulletin forum.

I have had to disable the mod due to the number of erroneous links being generated. Can anyone offer any advice on this issue? Am I the only one using zbblock with this mod?

Finally found a work-around. It is an issue with zbblock handling of crazy FB links, not with this mod. A modification to the customsig file is needed to ignore the special query in the link. Not ideal, but it works,.

The mod is supported, meaning if people have problems with it in the default style the author will try to fix it as time permits.

However, don't misinterpret this as meaning the author will try to solve all your custom style desires. Not working on one server or moving buttons is entirely up to you.

It's supported when the author isn't about to have surgery/ in the hospital having surgery or home recovering as has been the case for the last few weeks. And the issue is related to this mod and the answer isn't in the instructions that come with this mod. I will be back in the swing of things in a few days. ;)

Hi, great mod and working fine on 4.2.2, the buttons only appear in the forums I have selected however they seem to appear everywhere else on the boards, for example, users profile, is there a way to prevent this happening?

Have you checked the settings? If they are set correctly then clear your cache.

the mod have problems with last firefox :)

There is a setting in the mod settings where you can enter THIS_SCRIPT names of pages you don't want them to appear. The intent is to appear virtually everywhere.

Seems to work fine for me- what is your URL and what problem are you having?

One other thing is the counters don't seem to work on 4.2.2 not a big issue as I haven't got it set to show the counters however I thought you might like to know if others on 4.2.2 use this mod

Is there a reason you think the counters not working is related specifically to version 4.2.2?

so i downloaded this mod and installed it on my forum (4.2.2) i can share older threads that are on my forum but cant seem to share new ones also cant seem to use the like button also with new threads as well. any idea what i can do to fix this as i like it but if i cant share new threads then yeah may need to uninstall to work out the issue

Instruction to do this are in the info.txt file included in the zip file. Look for the Manual Template Edit Options: section.

ok so i have noticed something a little more interesting with the showing of the like and share button, ive noticed that if a post up a thread in a forum thats open to everyone to see including guests you are are able to share and like but if the thread is put into a forum that has a selected viewing for example the forum is viewable to everyone but guests, banned users and awaiting to cofirm members they cant see the share and like button which is weird cause i have looked every where in admin panel to see if there is a setting to change to fix it but cant seem to find anything.

So now that just makes it ever more weird

I would like to remove this mod from the content.php page, I added "content" to the area where it says to disable on these scripts.. Yet it still shows. Unless I am calling the wrong script for content.php

I'll disable and just add it manually to certain pages.

content.php is a rare case where the THIS_SCRIPT valiue is different- try: vbcms
