There is a conversion script on vBAdvanced.com - http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?p=221023 - this would allow you to keep all your games and scores.

Where do I get games for V3 Arcade?
It runs the exact same games as ibProArcade but, in addition, you can also run games from Mochimedia.com - http://www.mochimedia.com/games/ - those games can be imported directly from your AdminCP

Thank you very much.

Everything seems to be OK for now. Except see screen shot I provided. See how the text on the second line is garbled.

Having issues with scores not saving, it seems to be fine with v3 Arcade games but we only have like four and any others we have all seem to be for IPB games. It takes the user to a white page or doesn't actually do anything at all.

I've looked into the changing the index.php file and it's set to forum.php and not the other one thats mentioned for CMS. Has anyone got any ideas on how to get it working?

Have you anything in .htaccess that would result in bypassing index.php?

Gemma,

Any idea if they are working on a 5 connect version yet?

No idea, you would need to ask Brian over on vbAdvanced but personally I think the lack of activity on vBA.com is quite concerning.

Yeah, I am not sure yet whether I am actually going to switch over to vb 5 yet. So far, I don't care for what I see. Looks too much like the current IPB software. If I wanted IPB I could have stayed with them and saved myself LOTS of money. Thanks for the info

Brian has actually said on a thread on vBa.com that he plans to upgrade all vBa products to work with vB5

Try removing the / from the target urls so instead of /arcade.php you have arcade.php

vBulletin's Navigation Manager leaves a lot to be desired, it is a complete mess. Click to edit the Arcade tab again but just save the settings, it should take you back to the Navigation Manager index and all the arcade links should now appear....you'll then need to remove the / from each of the links you added (sorry that was my error :()

- Is there a way to move the games into their appropriate categories? Or, do I have to assign categories to each individual game?

- How can I have the games in boxes on the page as opposed to them being listed across a column and down the page game by game?

kcradio 09-19-2012 03:23 PM

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/

Having an issue on a fresh install (4.2 with CMS) of the games all being jammed together like this. Any idea on how to fix this?

Unfortunately each game is installed into the 'other' category. You then need to assign them into individual categories or by using the Mass Process Game Categories (AdminCP >v3 Arcade > Games Categories)

You can't yet....but I'm working on this, just had some real-life stuff to deal with which has delayed me working on things.

Bei manchen Highscores kommt die meldung:

Ihr Seitenaufruf konnte aufgrund eines fehlenden Securitytokens nicht verarbeitet werden.

If you run either vBAdvanced CMPS or vBulletin Suite CMS then you will need to make a small edit to your index.php file, details in this post

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=469

If you're using vB Suite CMS there is no
Code:

require('content.php');
But placing the code above this works.
Code:

require('forum.php');

I've come across this error myself lately and had to go back and install the games in smaller batches until I found the game causing the error. I then downloaded and imported that game manually and everything was fine again.

Think I've fixed this; if you are still receiving that error let me know.

On your server in your forum root - where you uploaded your vBulletin files to (it is part of vBulletin software core files)

kcradio 09-20-2012 03:06 PM

@Gemma - sent you a PM with the link to the site with the issue. It is a closed board where we do testing so did not want to put the link public.

Find:
Code:

require(INDEX_SCRIPT);
Above it add:
Code:

require_once('./includes/v3arcade_vbsuite_index_compatibility.php');
So that it looks like this:
Code:

require_once('./includes/v3arcade_vbsuite_index_compatibility.php');
require(INDEX_SCRIPT);

Save the file and upload it back on to your server.

Scroll down to post 11 to see how to add siderbar, there is also an attached image in that post and you can see a live demo on http://www.arcadejunkies.org/forum.php

Don't think that is related to v3 Arcade, looks like an issue with one of your styles.

OK. Thank you much. I'll be on the lookout.

That is caused by a modification, not anything to do with the arcade itself. Check you html markup in for each usergroup in the usergroup manager ; if you are using style="bold" trying using this format style='bold' etc - replace the " with ' in each instance.

Hi there,

I have had ibProArcade 2.7.2 installed on my forum for quite sometime but I was getting hacked a lot so I had to remove it from my forum. My members would love to have the arcade back but what are the chances of me being hacked again if I install this version?

Thanks for your time :)

You shouldn't have any security issues using v3 Arcade, I not heard of any sites being comprised through the arcade and unlike all ibProArcade all the code is code native to vBulletin which can only be a good thing.

You may want to check out the support forums on http://www.vbadvanced.com but as I mentioned I haven't seen anything relating to security.

Hello there,

I was wondering where i can find the free standard games for this. It is very hard to find anything as all the links point to threads in the vbarcade site http://www.v3arcade.com/forums/index.php which has only the message that it is part of vbadvanced now, but over there is no list of the free standard games only how to install them...
Please help
