I have a problem with the League page

The second screenshot is passing the mouse over the first row.

And also I am getting this error at the top of the page:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')', expecting ']' in C:\WebServ\htdocs\vb4vanilla\includes\class_core.p hp(4444) : eval()'d code on line 5

Thank you for your answer!

And one more thing :)

Call me noob, but I haven't found the way to post match comments. I click on the comments icon in front of each match, then there is a popup with the legend "No comments yet" but there is no textbox. Could you please tell me how to comment on matches?

Thank you! and great mod.

If you used this for say Football (Soccer)

At the end of a season you could have 2 teams with the same points

But if you had - For - this would be how many goals they have scored
Against - this would be how many goals they have had scored against them

Team a - For - 30 ----- Against - 10 - this would give them a difference of +20
Team b - For - 30 ----- Against - 14 - this would give them a difference of +16

So team A would be the winner

Any update on this ?

Also if possible :

The Leagues need to be shown as the Ladders and tournaments are, So you do not have to view ladders to enter a league
It needs its own tab and section
So you would have :
TOURNAMENTS
LADDERS
LEAGUES

Have the ability for admins to select what division a team gets placed in
Have it so when you make a league you can :

League name :
Season : - With drop down so you can name the seasons
Divisions : - With drop down so you can name the divisions
Teams per division - Drop down so you can select how many teams play in a division

At the end of a season, Automatically keep ALL teams in the same divisions/leagues apart from the obvious teams who get promoted/relegated

Option via admin to place a team in any division they see fit and swap teams around
Option to remove a team before or during a season and add another in its place but keeping all the same results

If for whatever reason a team drops out and no other teams are available
Admin can remove the team and all resultys, points be removed accordingly from other teams that have played them and give a fee week to the upcoming fixtures

Still testing this and with more features its slowly becoming a great mod

there needs to be more moderations power with this product as one user (betts02) stated above.

i had set up a double elimination tournament with 8 team. say if team 8 need to back out there is no opition for admins to remove the team from the bracket. i even removed the team from my team list but it is still in the bracket. this is very need since anyone can create a team and join a tournament bracket but actually not play in the tournament. this could be a problem with ppl creating a team and joining a tournament bracket by accident.

when you create a tournament and select a time and date for that tournament to start on, when all slots in the tournament are filled, the tournament starts right away instead of starting on the date you selected.

last but not least when a tournament ends and finishes the winning team doesn't get place in the winners bracket instead they stay in the final bracket with a empty brack underneath. may be adding 2 more slots to the double elimination making it a total of 10 instead of 8 will fix this.

i only seen these bugs with in the double elmination tournaments.
but this product does need a lot more moderation abilities and opitions to remove, move, and place teams within the tournaments brackets.

you can see screenshot i have attached of the brackets of the double elimination tournaments.

hopeful this can be fix soon as it is a very good product, this is the best i have seen so far hands down. :)

I have been trying to troubleshoot server errors that I've had since around the time this mod was installed. I don't suspect this mod has anything to do with it but I've hit a dead end. Has anyone else received domain-wide 500 Internal Server Errors snce installing this mod?

Never had any issues like that mate with this mod and we have used it for a while and also installed all the updates

NovoCiv 04-17-2011 03:10 AM

Well I disabled the mod and the errors continue, so the two are not related. Nothing to worry about :)

I'm shockingly bad at coding, using firebug to implement images underneath the rounds, this is a request to have an option to insert different maps/images at different rounds when creating tournaments.

Is this possible?

Keep up the good work :)

pjort 04-17-2011 10:44 AM

First: REALLY AWESOME HACK! :D

Second: I have some suggestions for improvements...

Some sort of Check-in system for tournements would be really usefull for online tournements held in the Esport community.

Another improvement would be to make it possible to set moderators to specific tourneys and ladders rather then the whole zhangbang! So that you could have people stand for each their own tourney. So that you could have tournaments arranged by different people but hosted on the same site. Also if you could specify to whom a certain tourney would be visible for, fx "for premium members only".

Hi,

I am getting this error when opening competitions.php
Quote:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in [path]\competitions.php on line 2934
I have entered two teams as a test. When i click into any of them i have this error

Quote:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';' in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\etsclan.co.uk\httpdocs\vbforum\i ncludes\class_core.php(4010) : eval()'d code on line 19
One thing though when i installed the product i had an issue with adding a team, there was an SQL error where group by wasn't entered. The SQL was this below:

Quote:

SELECT ladders.id AS lid, ladders.title AS title, COUNT(r.id) + 1 AS rank
FROM " . TABLE_PREFIX . "tmnt_ladder_players AS players
LEFT JOIN " . TABLE_PREFIX . "tmnt_ladders AS ladders
ON (players.lid = ladders.id)
LEFT JOIN " . TABLE_PREFIX . "tmnt_ladder_players AS r
ON (r.lid = players.lid AND r.rank > players.rank)
WHERE players.userid = '$teamid'
AND players.pot = 1
AND players.active = 1
I added this manually and it worked
Quote:

GROUP BY ladders.id, ladders.title, r.id
Don't know if that means anything

generalclev 04-20-2011 02:43 PM

Can anyone help?

Dozer826 04-20-2011 03:11 PM

big thumbs up for this mod, we recently upgraded to 4.1.2 and installed this mod less than a week ago and already have 4 or 5 active ladders and a big tournament coming up.

Just a suggestion and it might have been posted already but I only read thru the first 20 of the 51 pages of posts, but maybe adding a maps database for each ladder. That way when you challenge someone you can pick the map from a dropdown. This may also be useful when you have a ladder thats best of 3 maps and the challenger can pick 2 maps and the person that gets challenged picks 1 map. We've had a couple instances where weople cant agree on a map. (cmon people figure it out!)

Great work, my guys love it!

Round robin tournaments currently only support upto 14 players/teams.

got that working now mate thanks, when looking at the teams i get this error:

http://www.etsclan.co.uk/images/ss.png

I have done the template change but still no luck

betts02 04-22-2011 07:35 AM

When adding a new category, It ONLY has options for :

Tournaments
Ladders
Tournaments And ladders

Maybe have the league option added here ?

When i click on "Tournaments" really i only want to see the Tournaments, Same with Ladders and Leagues

What i and i dare say others want is for you to be able to have it so when you click say Ladders, It ONLY shows you what ladders are available
Same with Tournaments and leagues
ONLY active/open events
Maybe have an option for "Archive" so people can see past events and who won,etc

But its coming on great, well done and thanks
I shall keep testing this futher

champendk 04-22-2011 08:11 AM

Would it be possible make this mod run on its own template system so it can be change to different look from the forum?

Maybe its already possible?

Create plugin on hook: global_start with following php code
PHP Code:

if (in_array(THIS_SCRIPT, array('ajax_competitions','competitions','ladders','tournaments')))
{
$styleid $vbulletin->userinfo['styleid'] = 3;

Change 3 for appropriate styleid

ProFifaLeagues 04-22-2011 06:32 PM

Superb work again Thanks!

Bananalive would there be any chance we could get a system for the match finder that would give members a random game to play,So when there is any more then 2 players on a singles ladder looking for games the system would auto match them up.I would be more then happy to Donate any amount needed for your work on this as this mod is becoming a Great!!!

LichtMann 04-22-2011 11:43 PM

I have two suggestions for next version:

1. The possibility to add moderators for each competition, not for the whole system.

2. The possibility to edit the Rules for each competition, not for the whole system.

Do you think it will be possible?

You may be missing some columns in your mysql forum database. Did you import the v4.3.9 product file without any errors?

Try importing attached file.

When i go to "League List"
Code:

/ladders.php?showonly=leagues
It shows ladder categories. (is that the correct way it works.?)

I fully understand Ladders, & Tournaments, but the "Seasons", & "Leagues" are really confusing.

Also i think description should go back up to the title area rather than down beloew in a tab. imo

.

Yes.

Seasons - allow you to link ladders/leagues together. So if you run the same ladder each month, then you can contain them all in a seasons group. Then the previous ladders are easier to find. Seasons are completely optional.

Leagues are similar to ladders, apart from players/teams cannot choose how they play, instead they are allocated an opponent.

Quote:

It's an option in vBulletin Options:
  • Ladder Description as Tab
  • Tournament Description as Tab

I have just noticed that some match reports comments dont appear to show up after making them on ladder matches any ideas???
