OK For some reason when I install this plugin everything install fine but the tab navigation thing showed in the screenshot of yours does not appeared on mine. When I click Settings > Options which brings me to the vBulletin Options and a long list of stuff, the plugin is listed in their but how come it does not show the toolbar like it showed in your screenshot on my left navigation? Seems like something is missing, my bulletin version is vBulletin 4.x vBulletin 4.1.0 Patch Level 2

I got this error too after upgrade to '2.0.4'. But old version '2.0.3' is work perfectly on 'vBulletin version 4.0.8'. I also found that the version number in 'Installed Products' is not display '2.0.4' and still display '2.0.3' after upgrade new version. Is that correct product xml file in 'sstab_advanced_204a.zip'?

My vBulletin is English + French.
It seems that it is not possible to display the tab label based on the language (fr or en).
How else can we do this ?

hmm the margin-bottom of the created tabs are off a couple pixels.. it adds a couple pixels to all the tabs when you click on a created one..

can this be fixed? a template edit or mybe edit a file perhaps?

Hi I've installed Tab Add System as per the instructions. I'm using 4.1 CMS. Does this work properly with this version?

In the Settings > Options >> Tabs Add System for vBulletin 4 by VSoporte

I don't have any options to Add any tabs. When I enable this plugin it just adds to Spanish Tabs for Groups and Members on my home page.

Am I missing something or is there something special I need to do to make this work in 4.1?

I have couple of concern, Please help me:

Which is the newly created page.
How can I make this URL to : http://www.mydomain.com/About-Us

Using vbSoporte, All the time Hover Highlight (With white color) is activation to FORUMS tab even if we click to other (Contact us, provacy policy etc) tabs and if we are in other pages. How can I activate hover of all tabs ?

Mine doesn't seem to work. I added a sub-menu but, when I click the link it doesn't highlight the section that I clicked and thus no sub menu items. The dropdown seems to work for me though.

Furthermore, uninstalling the hack leaves traces behind in the ACP.

Same problem. I have the newest vB version but not the CMS. Just the forum. I installed and I have the option under the admin "options" area but not the area where I create new tabs. It's added spanish tabs to my forum for me but there is no area to control these tabs or create new ones. I see the screenshot of what I "should" have but I don't see that in my admincp anywhere.

Ok, the problem was that the instructions tell you to unload all the files into the "root" folder of the forum. Really, the files need to go into the "admin" and "includes>xml" folders as positioned in the download. It may seem obvious to users with experience but for those of us who are brand new to vbulletin... we just put the files where we are told. In the root folder of the forum...

Now that this problem is solved I can't seem to find the way to have the tabs appear activated when they are clicked on. Instead... my "forum" button stays active. Any ideas on how to make these tabs appear active?

im running 4.1 patch 2 is this what you are running , if so is it working for you well now ? cause im looking to install it but all i keep seeing is issue, after issue, after issue, so im tryin gto be careful.. cause im a noob n if i screw something up Im in big trouble . I would have no clue how to fix it lol

I'm just as new as you unfortunately...LOL. I'm the clown of the forums at this point I think.

But installing in the way that I said works no problem. The instructions just suck and seem to on most the plugins paid and unpaid. It's mind numbingly easy for those familiar with vB but for those of us who are looking at this for the 1st time and terrified to change things... the instructions suck.

Anyways, I'm still needing help for the part to make the tabs look active. Nobody has offered up a solution since my post so it's still a no-go. I'm confident that it will work if someone helped me through it but right now it's still not.

I'm having a problem. The Config link in the admin panel for this product doesnt work for me using fresh install of vb 4.1 patch 2 with morbid blue theme.

Anybody know how to make the tabs look active colored when they are active? My forum just stays colored as the active one. I'm thinking it has something to do with whatever "THIS_SCRIPT" stuff is but I'm not sure.

Is spewing out default Spanish tabs, without giving any options to alter or add new tabs in the AdminCP; making the hack redundant. Have disabled it for now until a fix pops up - but it seems unsupported judging by the comments.

Functionality to hide tabs like Forum and Home are broken in vBulletin 4.1.1 Beta 1. These are unlikely to be fixed by IB/vBulletin, and it will be up to the developer to update this mod.

I'm making reasonable use of this now :) Still have issues trying to get things to display in a navbar (not the navtab) but anyway


I have set my Name field to something like

to do this I had to increase the size of the title field in the database from 100 characters to something like 255 to be safe. Might be worth including this in the instructions as it makes a nice menu :)

Is it possible to highlight added tabs by specific forum please?

I am running out of space now, and need a double nav bar, there is a mod for it in the vB4 mods, but it's lots of Template edits, and I really like this one here better.

Is it possible to find the addet Tabs and Dropdown Items in the Templates? If yes in which? Because i would like to add vbphrases to translate them my Forum is multilingual.

Hi I have this mod isntalled and have set up three extra tabs with only two visible at the moment.

I have created them as drop down menus and asigned articles to the drop down links. On each article the 'can read' permissions are set to everyone except the banned user group.

However if I log out and try to view these articles they are not visible and I am asked to log in.. I can't find any other permissions to change, so how can I make my content viewable?

I have looked all over the place but am stumped. It is probably something really easy but help! Please :)

Hi there, hope somebody can help. I just installed this today. There are three new navtabs in Spanish actively working on my site: Lideres, Miembros, and vbSoporte. They link fine so I'm assuming the install is ok, BUT haha I don't have the menu in admin CP to alter or edit.

Have I missed something? Do I need to configure something else? Any help much appreciated as I'd rather keep it than uninstall. Thanks

Sort of, I am also using Morbid Blue. The tabs are not being hidden properly. New tabs are being shown but I cannot hide Forum and Blog.

is there a fix for the 'forums' tab being highlighted even though you are on the 'home' tab???

sstab_advanced 203 and 204a Versions are broken with Vbulletin 4.11

This was one of my favorite mods... Hopefully the author can fix it soon...

For 4.1.0pl2 it doesn't work either.

Yes making Tabs does work we know that but what we were talking about was it doesn't hide "FORUM" "HOME "What's New?" "Blog" in Vbulletin 4.11 unless your using some custom theme I suggest you verify it with the default theme! I hardly doubt between the four of us it is working with the new updates!
