This was asked in the thread but I cant find the answer so will ask again?

Can a custom made gift have an expiry time? Example - you create a drink and once purchased it expires after one week and is removed from the user. This way more points or credits would be consumed by members.

No as of now there is no way to cutoff based on time. I was going to script it for the 3.0 version; however, I simply just ran out of time. I still fully plan on having time limits on gifts and certain purchases in the 3x series but it won't be on the initial release.

There are ways you can limit the amount of gifts being displayed to a set number such as 10, which would constantly make the user have to keep repurchasing.

RC 2 is now released. There are 9 total bug fixes in it to give you a more stable product.

The only thing that does't seem to work is the name and title glow features with styles as files, otherwise, exelent mod :D

I didn't come up with a fix for that yet and I was trying to nail down as many bugs in one day as possible. I'll get it working before Gold, I promise. :)

Mayhem, what about the custom gifts post that I had made was that fixed in RC2? It looks like the image is just missing, that it is not inserting the url to the image.

You're right..

However, version of "RC2" is still "RC1" on admincp.
The version hasn't been updated on the XML file.

Did you enter vbExperience or market_xperience in the points field?

Go ahead and import it anyways and select YES to overwrite. I think I changed one template and a few phrases on the product file and that was it. Almost all bugs I found were file related.

Just a quick question to make sure I set this up right as far as users being able to buy points via paypal. I clicked create on Payment Converter. In the point field I put market_xperience (is this correct?) Set Amount I put 5000.00 (they will get 5000.00 points) Paypal Email (my paypal email address) Fee, I put 50.00 (It will cost them 50.00 real money to buy 5000.00 in points).

Is this all I need to do in order for users to purchase points using real money and did I fill it out correctly?

Look at the navbar, you should see the Market tab and underneath it you should see:

Awesome. I do have a suggestion, because it was hard for me to find on the user end the link to buy points. Could we have a tab that says Purchase (or Buy) Points next to Earn Points, so users could easily find it instead of having to click the Converter link and going from there. Also, when you go to buy points (clicking the converter link) the currency name shows the field name, is there anyway to get it to show maybe a title that we can set instead? As of right now it shows market_xperience, instead could you maybe add an option for the admin to add their own title so instead of it showing market_xperience I could set it to show Buy Points or whatever. I know this is just a cosmetic issue, but I still wanted to bring it up :D

I was expecting to see banking link in Left side Options. I also had my navbar link off, due to me having custom drop down menu.

Hmm, possible bug

I just made a deposit in the bank, and although it went through ok, I still had the same amount left as before i banked some.

I was then able to bank the same amount again, effectiveley Doubling my points.

Hope that makes sense.

Please check the latest "product-pointmarket.xml" file, and i got this line.

Is anybody else having an issue with custom gifts or the lottery. I dont show the lotto paying out or custom gifts on profile or postbit.

testing items right now. Is there a way to either disable the shipping dropdown, or perhaps put 'virtual item' on the dropdown? I dont want my members to have to enter their emails or put real shipping addresses on things that are just for fun on the computer that arent actually "shipped". thanks!

Installed 3.0.0 rc2 and love it. One issue with the buying points aspect.

When I try to set this up, it tells me to complete all required fields. I am not missing any fields. Am I missing something somewhere else.

Yeah, I'm having problems with gifts, too. Buying one takes your points but doesn't show below the profile in posts. It only shows in the profile's full page.

I have other postbit modifications anyways. Tried reverting them, but it didn't work.
