It will drop the templates it doesn't need. The gbs templates are for something in the future ;)

THe next previous has always been there. Just use the arrow buttons on your keyboard.

Okay, still working on trying to get this to work on my board and think it may be to do with the above that you mention. I have downloaded a couple of new skins and it works with one of them so I know it isn't GB.

My question is: how do I ensure that the JS and CSS are being included? Sorry if this is a silly question but I haven't a clue. If anyone can help I'd be most grateful. :)

This mod also does images. I'm using the full highslide packed of the latest version so you shouldn't need two files. But I don't see the point of the other mod if you use this one.
View source and see if its being included.

Thanks, Nix. Okay, I have compared the source from the two skins (one where the lightbox works and the one where it doesn't) and both have the relevant CSS and JS present. Any idea what else could be causing this to work in one and not the other?

This looks like a great mod. I've got a couple of questions before I implement it on my live, large-scale 3.7-based forum, and I hope you'll indulge me.

1. I have previously been using TheGeek's Auto-Media Embedder ("AME") for my media links (e.g., YouTube, Amazon, etc.). Will the appropriate media links be auto-converted to Goldbrick?

2. Can you explain the "My Media" feature?

3. Is this system for embedding files, or is it used for uploading files?

3. copy youtube link (not embeded link), paste into your topic, it will auto convert to media. Also apply on flv (not tested), and images (that hosted by third party as imageshack...), and audio mp3, wma....

What was happening for me was that I'd click the media link in the post I'd created, and the Goldbrick player would flyout. But, then before my video (media) was shown in the Goldbrick Player, the player would disappear from that page (ie window), and the video would instead show in the full page with the video (media) link in the address bar, together with my post link at the end of the media link... as though I'd clicked the link (and the link's target was target="_self"). Does that make any sense?

I've tried to explain the problem as it happened. Sorry, if I'm a bit unclear in explaining. In short, the player disappeared, and the video (media) replaced whatever was on that page (ie window) <-- I hope this is a bit clearer.!

Anyway, the way I've got the problem sorted out is by selecting [NO] to the --> Use New Goldbrick Style [Y/N] option.

I hope this helps anyone having similar problems.

For the people using version 1.9, how it is working for you?

it's not working for me for the following, Dailymotion, MegaVideo, Megarotic (not sure I spelled it right),

And for Google, still get the error if you have more than two video files... Sometime I still received the error for just one Google Video file....

If possible, please add the IDMdb. I have not yet test the flash file. And the Next, Previous button between/among videos or images are not working...

I had one of the error codes at first. I read through the posts and found out how to fix it easily. Also did the upgrade to 1.9.
