Yes I did. All the user groups have both options set to yes.

nix 09-11-2007 01:15 AM

what link are you trying to get to work?

nix 09-11-2007 02:09 AM

Updated

3.1 Beta3
  • Fixed Database errors
  • Fixed preview and quick reply (still have to refresh with Safari)
  • Added google.ca
  • Fixed MTV so it supports more videos
  • Added option for old style template (if you see any problems let me know)
  • Fixed FLV extensions (well they work on my test site :))

I left the last version up just incase this one has problems. Let me know how it works!

Ksb2050 09-11-2007 02:42 AM

Let me just update the new version and get back to you nix on my status. =)

Edit - This new version is working good for me. Thanks nix!

Chadi 09-11-2007 03:57 AM

Something is wrong. Just upgraded to 3.1.0.2 and now I get this error when attempting to view any thread that has embedded videos

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: krumo() in /home/user/public_html/includes/class_postbit.php(426) : eval()'d code on line 23

I upgraded by uploading/overwriting all files and uninstalling old plugin, uploading new.

nix 09-11-2007 04:10 AM

download it again and import the product again. I just noticed that and fixed it already.

that krumo function is something i use for testing.

Please help! Have recently installed this mod on a new board we are building, I was assured by the installer that this mod as well as remotly attaching media files also attaches files direct from your local PC I can't for the life of me see any posts on here refering to that, the site needs members to be able upload local mp3 & wmv wma files from their machine, please tell me I am wrong about this & that the mod dose do this & if not wich one dose.
Cheers Guys.

nix 09-11-2007 05:16 AM

Yes it does. You have to add the extension type to your attachment manager in vbulletin. Then set the options up for anymedia to convert attachments. It just uses vbulletin's attachments. Make sure you move the attachments from the database to files.

Artist67 09-11-2007 05:25 AM

I would be greatful if you would go and have a look, i have added the relevent attachment types in in vb manager etc .wma .wmv .flv etc but it just dosnt do anything, i presume once attached you then just click the blue M but how on earth do you insert it? or do you highlight it in the attachment window then c & p it into the reply window between the media tags- im lost here. http://www.areyouanartist.com/forum
Appreciated- thanks.

nix 09-11-2007 05:30 AM

Just upload them as attachments like you do normally.

Artist67 09-11-2007 06:12 AM

Sorry to be a pain, but i cant find specific text: 'Then set the options up for anymedia to convert attachments' - or do you mean 'AnyMedia BBCode Enabledand or 'Supported extensions' as most settings are set to 'yes. What do you mean 'Make sure you move the attachments from the database to files' I have got another established vb board but never come across this befor, was recently sent this, if you can sus it out 'I believe there is a 2Mb limit set. If you have access to the php.ini file then you can edit it' its driving me nuts.
Cheers.

nix 09-11-2007 06:43 AM

Auto-detect the Attachment Type - Set this to yes.

Use AnyMedia BBCode when upload an attachment - Set this to yes.

Then look on the left hand side of your admincp. You'll see attachments. Look for

Attachment Storage Type. Create a folder in your forum directory and put the path in there. Select move from database to file system.

Make sure you do the template edit.

Then you just make a normal post and attach the media like you normaly do with other attachments. You don't need to do anything with the M button.

testebr 09-11-2007 08:15 AM

you are the man ;)

classic skin owns!

My last request is for you upgrade the default FLV player to latest version.

nix 09-11-2007 08:21 AM

I upgraded it last time. Did another one come out? Don't know if you noticed but you can insert your own image for the player.

Ftu-forum 09-11-2007 08:43 AM

Now it's so cool ... :x
works perfectly

eurofunny 09-11-2007 09:02 AM

Wolf_Hook 09-11-2007 10:28 AM

Thank you Nix! It now works perfectly and my membership is extremely happy.

I love it when a hack is actually supported.

cyclone-uk 09-11-2007 10:51 AM

Still not working for me, i get a slightly different error now - Error: unsupported media type.2

Artist67 09-11-2007 10:54 AM

cyclone-uk 09-11-2007 10:54 AM

download the install anymedia text file. If you can see the M button the guy who installed it for you probably already did it.

testebr 09-11-2007 12:09 PM

nix,

In next release can you dont load all .js files (highslide.js etc..) if user selected classic skin?

nix 09-11-2007 12:14 PM

well that would make sense huh. Will do.

Tralala 09-11-2007 01:44 PM

Is there a way to preserve the 3.0.x behavior that requires the [media] tags to be used? My users don't like the autoparsing, and want links to stay as links. Only when they use the [media] tags do they want AnyMedia to kick in. Is that possible to do, by default?

nix 09-11-2007 01:52 PM

go into the plugins and uncheck the newpost process plugin.

Gotcha. Cool, and thanks for the quick response. Also thanks for such fantastic support of my favorite mod. You set a fine example and my hat's off to you!

For future users, in a future version may I suggest making this "autoparsing of links" an AdminCP setting, so they don't need to manually disable the process...

RedGTiVR6 09-11-2007 03:39 PM

updated without any issues! thanks!

ragtek 09-11-2007 05:37 PM

1. how can i change the phare click here to listen

nix 09-11-2007 06:31 PM

ragtek 09-11-2007 06:35 PM
