A minor typo in one of the templates, nothing you would notice.

deezelpope 10-07-2007 11:39 AM

Oh, ok, thanks.:)

KURTZ 10-07-2007 01:58 PM

HELP!

I installed, imported and configured everything, but nothing has changed on any of my pages. Nothing shows up. I don'T know what to do, help!

Paul M 10-08-2007 01:14 AM

You probably have a custom style, but since you don't provide any link to your forum it's impossible to confirm.

foreigner_tr 10-08-2007 06:01 AM

Upgraded. Works perfect. Thanks :)

Correct, I have a custom style

Thanks for the support :) Just tell me the modification to do and I'll do it by hand. I'm not used to ATCS :D

Paul M 10-08-2007 03:40 PM

Erm, I can see it fine on that site.

I love it and it was my first attempt to put in a hack. Thanks

rayphua 10-10-2007 03:28 AM

Hi, I am receiving an error which was never there before I updated the new files that made your previous hack obsolete.

It is now showing a "The most members online in one day was %1$s, %2$s." under the Description (optional) field when you click to create a new thread.

I am assuming that this error should be caused by this upgrade. Please advice because it looks pretty bad when users create new threads and see this strange error.

Paul M 10-10-2007 07:06 AM

Standard vbulletin does not have an Optional Description field for threads.

That is correct. But it seems to have conflicted with the Show First Thread mod. Is there anyway I can resolve this?

Paul M 10-10-2007 05:48 PM

Sorry, I have no idea, I don't know anything about the mod you are referring to.

Stifmeister2 10-11-2007 07:06 PM

Before I upgrade, have you disabled the ability to see last time active on mouseover when you point some user's name?

I have v4.40 and I still have it. But I can't see that effect on your board (link in your sig)..

I'm asking because I love that feature and I'd hate to see it gone...

Paul M 10-11-2007 08:04 PM

Yes, that feature is still there.

(and it works fine on CF, are you sure you viewed the correct list - it's collapsed by default).

Stifmeister2 10-11-2007 08:20 PM

Ohh my bad. :D

Stifmeister2 10-11-2007 08:37 PM

New question:

How can I also have that "The most ever guests online was... " ?

Paul M 10-11-2007 08:50 PM

It comes as part of v4.43

Stifmeister2 10-11-2007 09:14 PM

Hmm... I have the most ever members there... But not the most ever guests. And I can't seem to find it from the settings either.

Paul M 10-11-2007 09:29 PM

Are you sure you have 4.43 installed ? Since you have no link to your forum anywhere, I cannot see.

KURTZ 10-11-2007 11:51 PM

Paul, just wondering it's correct my who's on line?

check the pick :)

Most users ever online was 12, Yesterday at 16:42.

The most members online in one day was 16, 10-08-2007.

and also (but this is another your hack)

The most posters in one day was 13, 10-07-2007.

Paul M 10-12-2007 12:00 AM

<i>check the pick ? </i>- I don't know what that means.

What is your question exactly ?

deezelpope 10-12-2007 12:11 AM

He means look at the screenshot...I think he's asking the same thing I asked you the other day, about the numbers of members.

Here: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=113

Paul M 10-12-2007 07:01 AM

All three numbers look fine to me.

no Paul, i think the three numbers must be the same not different ... i think this is a small issue in your hacks ... :)

deezelpope 10-12-2007 12:59 PM

Kurtz, I don't think it's an issue, it's just that the numbers mean different things...

Most users ever online was 12, Yesterday at 16:42.

^^This one means how many were online at the same time.

The most members online in one day was 16, 10-08-2007.

^^This one means how many were on in a day's time.

The most posters in one day was 13, 10-07-2007.

^^And this one is how many users posted in a day's time.

Does that make sense? It can be confusing at times. I hope this helps you.:)

Nope, like I said, all three numbers are fine, there is no issue with any of them.

deezelpope has explained their meaning quite well.

See feature 9 in the main list. :)

Evolution06 10-12-2007 10:54 PM

I have always loved this mod but on this custom skin the whos_online.gif is misaligned. How can I fix that to line up with the top one?
http://www.pandemicdesign.net

Paul M 10-13-2007 12:17 AM

You need to edit the display_visitors template, looks like some custom padding in the TD tag.

Evolution06 10-13-2007 03:03 AM

lol whoops, Why didn't I think of that I just replaced the code in display_vistors with

PHP Code:

<td class="alt2" style="padding: 12px 13px 12px 13px;"><a href="online.php$session[sessionurl_q]rel="nofollow"><img src="$stylevar[imgdir_misc]/whos_online.gif" alt="$vbphrase[view_whos_online]border="0" /></a></td

Now it lines up perfect. Thanks,

manofphat 10-16-2007 10:40 AM

Ever since I've upgraded my vBulletin to 3.6.8 it hasn't worked for me Paul :(
I just updated to the latest version hoping that would work but no go.
It must be something I'm doing wrong.

My forum: www.northernresistance.com/forum/forum.php
I've attached my current settings.

Thanks in advance for looking into it

Paul M 10-16-2007 12:08 PM

Since the settings look fine, and your style seems ok, I would guess that another product has a fault that it preventing the code from being run. Disable any other addons that use the global_start or cache_templates hooks and see if it starts working.
