I think it's working well.

So all we need now is a Pulldownmenu where Users can edit the BB-Code with the other Functions. ;)

hmmm....
great hack... but I can't get it to work consistently.

I get the WHITESCREEN OF DOOM! for ALL Flash related posts (not just google...though google seemed to work SOMETIMES :/ :( )
Refreshing the thread doesn't help. However, when I click download it launches a new window and works fine in the new window. but the player itself is WHITE DEATH!! :

I just installed this on my other site and I cant get nothing to show up. I uploaded all the files and imported the plugin and made all the template mods and after trying to make changes to the anymedia settings in admin cp after checking all the extentions I want to support and I choose save non of my setting stay? Also there is nothing to turn on and off the anymedia feature in the usergroups and no anymedia icon when starting or replying to a thread? whats going on?

I guess their explorer stoped the autostart action of the flash.

Make sure you've uploaded the 'includes/xml/bitfield_anymedia.xml' file,
and log into your admincp to visit 'admincp/index.php?do=buildbitfields' to rebuild the permission cache.

Does it matter that I installed 3.0.2 without any prior version or do I need to install the prior version then upgrade?

Never mind I had my head in the gutter when doing this. I uploaded the files to the root instead of the forums directory.. Working great.. thanks and great hack man

Did you turn on the option named "Collapse by default" in admincp?

Sorry that I don't go through the 58 pages, but has the autoplay issue been fixed ? I THINK I got the latest version but it still autoplays regardless of the setting .

REQUEST/SUGGESTION:

I don't know if this is even possible or makes sense....
but would it be possible be able to add capability to add media files that play from the Links and Download Manager hack?

I run that (LOTS of ppl do ;)) and people are always adding media files to it (as a library of videos, mp3s etc). It be nice if they could just link in from it in a thread to with this. (keeps everything "in house" ;)

I was wondering how we can change the players aspect ratio. Since the player wants to play in a 16:9 aspect and it stretches 4:3 video?

I think it's just nearly the same as the attachment system...

use the options of the tag,

such as

or

my board hangs at 100% when uploading larger files now. I have media tag turned ON at upload. has anyone had this problem or is there something to do to help it along?

also googlevids seem only to work like...20% of the time (if I'm lucky). Usually its whitescreen of doom. is that something on my end, the hack, or google?

AnyMedia just uses javascript to embed the media when you upload sth,
there's no query added,

yes, it's a known bug of the flvplayer,
and I'm still searching for a better one.

Well that's what I thought originally..Here's a file a user sent me showing a 4:3 video at 512x384 however even with the 512x384 set the screen still stretches on it's own. So the guy who sent that to me is pretty blunt, so the text we writes is NOT DIRECTED to you. :)

512x384 is set for the windows media object,
not for the screen.
you have to add 45piexl to the height.

so use this tag:

Everything works great! (tested out 3GP and the flash mp3 player)

My one "complaint" (and hope for 3.0.4) is that Google video uses the real Google player or only requires one click to play.
