The default settings work very well, there is no "best seo practice". It's all about your personal preference with URL formats :)

@server load posts: When you uninstall this mod and remove its .htaccess edits as well as uploaded files, the mod no longer runs. The increase in server load is not a result of this mod.

That wasn't the question :)

The question was whether this mod is responsible for an increase in server load after it had been uninstalled and fully removed.

Fillip

that's right the question is why the server load not decrase again aftear the mod uninstalled and fully removed.
on my community the server load incrase from about 2 to about 20 or 25 after i install the DragonByte SEO so i unistall it although i very intersted by it's advantage but after i uninstall it the server load some time be 2 and suddenly incrase to be 20 or more

To me, that simply proves that DBSEO wasn't the cause :)

very thanks for reply , but this problems and instability occured after install and uninstall the DragonByte SEO and this happen for other members suffer from that also , we not blame but we are try to investigate the problem

It is physically impossible for this mod to be the cause of an increase of server load after it has been removed from the AdminCP and the .htaccess. The mod does not run at all, it has no effect on your server or your forum.

Make sure any kind of cache you may be using is cleared.

Any chance that during the short time DBSEO was running that search engines reindexed your site getting you better rankings do to better SEO and what your are now seeing after the removal of DBSEO is residual increased traffic from both users and search engines?

As per forum rules the pro version cant be talked about here so you need to go to their site and find out that info
