Maybe I'm just not knowledgeable enough about MySQL tuning, but this mod - as much as I love it - absolutely kills my VPS. It brings the server to a crawl even when I've only enabled it for 2-5 people. This is probably my fault but I thought I'd chime in anyhow, I thought it seemed like a very polished mod otherwise and would definitely invest in the pro version if I didn't have this problem.

I am going to guess you have one of the cheaper VPS with limited memory available, or else they are throttling your cpu usage.

yeah its killing my server to, messages take to long after clicking enter, and i only got low traffic. Removed.

Comet chat doesn't have as much lag as this.

The chat does not show up in the CMS page. Please help me with showing the chat on the main cms page

Currently the chat does not show on the CMS pages because the hooks needed to make it show no longer get ran on the CMS pages. We are looking into a fix for it, and will let everyone know when it is found.

We had originally planned to release a new version yesterday; however, one of the main developers had to stay overnight in the hospital after a car accident.

Hope you all enjoy the updated 1.2.0 release which fixes many bugs and adds several new features. We will see about writing up more about whats new in it later but right now we are calling it a night.

Everybody who was having issues with the messages not showing up before please let us know if you still have that problem as it should be fixed! (also let us know if its still broken for you)

I'm still having the issue of messages not showing up. You can check it out with the same user and pw I gave you before. These are the versions of the new downloads.

I am having an issue with the general chat room. I keep getting this message when trying to use it.
