Provided the forum in question is the one you have set as your homepage, I am unable to confirm this issue using IE8.

Works great except for chat rooms: nobody receives invitations, except me, the admin. I couldn't find the permission for that. Users create rooms, invite others, but only I see the invitations (those to me). The invitations that I send are also not received by anyone.

And the only invitation that got through to me was in the loop - I couldn't get rid of it until I cleared the db table and the files.

UPD I hit OK - the room appears shortly, then disapears, and the invitation is back at me - infinitely.

Including yourself, 2 people have had this problem and I've still been entirely unable to figure it out because I cannot reproduce it anywhere.
Are you using some form of cache system that may not be detecting vBulletin's build_datastore()?
