i'm not sure those have anything to do with commbull ... those functions are native to vB.

PS - I think I fixed the problem with the multiple user groups ... uploading it now.

Where can I change CSS for the Newsletter?
How can I display the unsubscribe text on the bottom of the Newsletter? Currently it is on the top of the Newsletter.

hi granduer, the new file can't be extracted after downloading (commbull.zip)
it says operation not permitted

Fantastic installed with no problems, tried to enable the cron but I have a file missing, where can I find it?

Cheers all

includes/cron/commbull.php

Also is there a report that can be run to see how many have unsubscribed

CSS doesn't work in emails. 99% of CSS is stripped out by all web based email.

I can only suggest trying it again. I had no problem and I've asked friends to try and again, no problem.

The cron is disabled. I should not have the file in there. Most servers can not handle the load required to send out the newsletter via cron and I have not found a solution that works.

I have been using this successfully on a weekly basis for a few years now.

Just today, got this error after hitting 'send':
Quote:

This webpage is not available
The webpage at http://www.forumurl/admincp/commbull.php?do=send might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): Unknown error.
I have tried diferent browsers several times over 12hrs
Anyone have any ideas?

not really sure, but it's funny because when I click on "reply" to this post, I got that exact error message.

Hey dj,

Thanks for all your help so far. I did as you said, selected only administrators but when I go to the send page, the page simply displays

Error! no users to send to
[Go back]

I've triple checked, and my admin group definitely has 1 primary user (myself:)...what's the deal? Any help appreciated!

No offense intended here but if you're the only admin, then check the obvious:
  • you have checked the box for "Receive admin emails" in your UserCP
  • you have checked the box for "Receive CommBull newsletter"
  • you have saved these settings after checking the boxes
  • you have a valid email address entered in your UserCP settings

Then check AdminCP | Settings | Email Options:

Scroll down to

Set it to No. Or if it's already set to No, try setting it to Yes to bypass PHP (mail) and use SMTP.

Checked. Have anybody the same problem. any solution for this error?

Great plugin. All I need is a little help to turn the output page background from white to black. Anyone help?
