I broke the .xml down to it's easiest form, that way if you want to mess with it, it should be fairly easy. Once you have the phpmotion software uploaded onto your server, you should be able to use this xml and put your own site logo on the videos..... If you have any questions or need any help, i will do my best to help ya. hotwheels |

I wrote to the Geek about my troubles but so far no response. Here is the email describing what I've done and the error message I'm getting. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! w -------------beginning of message to the Geek---------------- Subject: Problems installing AME 1.2.0 From: wayside616 (Member) Geek, Please don't taunt me too badly - I'm just an English major!! Anyway, I've got VBulletin 3.6.8 installed, and I've downloaded AME 1.2.0. When I used the "Manage Products" option to point to the products .xml file for the AME package it seemed to install without a hitch. I couldn't easily find admincp->AME CP->Settings in the VBulletin admin module. Ultimately I did find AME settings under VBulletin Options in the left-hand channel. At the very bottom of all the settings sets, there appears AME Settings. These setting options are not exactly the same as those described in your troubleshooting options: Originally Posted by Troubleshooting 1. That option, which does seem to have something to do with Resolving URL titles -- is set to no. Instead of "Resolve URL titles, I find Extract destination data That option is set to "No" as well. Parsing URLs and embedding video aside, enabling the AME product immediately creates some pretty basic issues on the site. When I click on the quote button for an existing message, I get the following error message: Originally Posted by Error Warning: Unknown(/home/content/r/i/c/[ownername]/html/includes/ame_bbcode.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /newreply.php(705) : eval()'d code on line 1 Fatal error: (null)(): Failed opening required '/home/content/r/i/c/[ownername]/html/includes/ame_bbcode.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/content/r/i/c/[ownername]/html/newreply.php(705) : eval()'d code on line 1 I had uploaded the contents of the forums folder to the forums folder on our server. What do you think is going on??? Any and all help you can give me with this the better. I can call you toll free. If you prefer, give me a call at 503-213-4470, Thanks ------end of message----- Can |
