Either the graphic or the data file ist not set to 777. Did you already check that?

That will definately be part of version 1.0.5 - then the users can create their own country or whatever with fictious places and locations.
Also it will be possible to add POIs to the maps like 'Here is McDonalds' or 'Nightclub' or whatever.... |
