I have installed this on VB 4.2. The chatbox shows up nicely on the forumpage, and the options show up fine in the AdminCP.
However, the chatbox states it is loading, but it does not load content.
I have checked for the possible problematic Apache module, but that one is not loaded on the server. Still, gave the edit of the htaccess file a chance, but no effect.
VB Diagnostics show there is a "Suhosin" module loaded: " Suhosin can limit the amount of data submitted and encrypt cookies causing problems with several aspects of vBulletin. "
Might this be the issue? If so, how to resolve it?

The installation i ran:
Uploaded the admincp files to the admincp folder on the server.
Uploaded the includes files to the includes folder, and the files of the subfolder XML to that subfolder on the server.
Uploaded the mgc_cb_evo folder to the forum root
Uploaded the mgc_cb_evo folder in the images folder to the misc folder in images folder on the server.
Imported the product in the adminCP.
Anything wrong on that?

OMG i have this problem

When anybody reports a chat i get a notification which is fine

What i want to do is for my admin to get a notification as well when anyone reports a chat but he's not getting one only me

How do i do this in settings cheers

It looks promising, but alas I could not get the 'loading problem" resolved. Admitted, I did not do a message to the coder here, but as he has not been only since jan this year one would not expect a reply. Since the mod is free, one cannot expect/demand support in all fairness. Thus uninstalled it. Pity, as it looked promising.

The mod works great in the forums, thank you.

The instructions say you can set up a widget in the CMS but does not explain how to do it and it is not in the list of widgets to enable.

How is this added?

Hi guys,
i have installed this chat and is all ok, have only a problem, not appear icon avatar in chatbox.
i have upload images in images/misc/my theme and in images/misc

I am writing this to help you guys.
I hope that Paul doesn't punish me for this.

Clement of MGC has closed his company and site and is now part of a company called Themes Corp. which is writing addons for Xenforo. He sought me out to do some custom coding on there.

Thus, this app is unsupported unless someone takes it over.

Edit: I was just contacted by Allain, Clement's partner in their new company, to purchase their shopping cart program:

I'm trying to put the chatbox in the sidebar, I'm so close, but there is still a problem !

My var output is charged and filled, but it doesn't display in my template, why ... hurm

the echo $output displays well the chatbox at the top of the page, but my {vb:raw output} does not display in the temlplate whereas ouput is $templater->register('output',$output); exported ...

I've got the copyrights for this mod by ThemeCorp by giving them some of my mods to be moved to xenForo. Soon I'll release the PRO version here, but I've some doubts if I can support it as I never worked with chat systems.

After uninstalling the chatbox I got a major issue - I cannot modify usergroups anymore. Every time I get the following error:

The way I removed MGC Chatbox Evo is by deleting the product from Vbulletin and also deleting the following files from the forum folder:
- mgc_cb_evo_ajax.php
- mgc_cb_evo.php
- and the entire mgc_cb_evo folder

Could you please assist me with this error?

Hi guys,

I think I have sorted it out - there were some files in admincp and includes that I had to delete. Also I dropped the MGC columns from the database.

Hey,

The images seem to be broken. I put the .DB_Store thing in the misc/ folder and put the respective MGC folder containing all of the images in the misc/ folder as well and the images for the chat still seem to be broken. What am I doing wrong?

Ok i have had this chatbox installed for over a year and did not realise you could use these commands below i thought it was just for the pro version.How do i get these commands to work.For example this command /slap you can now use this ,but when i go to use it in the chat box for example it does this /slap uid 1 whats supposed to happen

Many commands available with usergroup/user permissions to access them:
/me: well known IRC command
/del: remove shouts (different possibilities of removal)
/ignore: ignore shouts from another user
/ban: ban user from chatbox
/pm: send a private chat to another user
/announcement: modify the announcement on top of the chatbox
: allow user to slap another user
/team: chats sending between specified usergroups
/l33t: I33t-ify a message

One question.

There are chat choose = ignore users.

But if you ignore someone, you NEVER EVER see him chats.

What if someone wants to cancel that ignore choose?
There are no cancel buttons.

"Ignore list" under "shoutbox" when you click "settings" in the upper right corner of the forum.

Not work after upgrade to vB3.8.11. The display remains empty and i can not wright a message.

I just installed this chatbox on my forum, but when I enter something like "test" and hit Enter, this comes up: "Error : A chat is already being processed, please wait."

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

I'm using Vbulletin 4.2.5

Note: I checked the Security (Maintenance > Diagnostics > and something else and it said No)
