Is there a way to change the minimum post count before being able to use the chat from 24hours to 1 week (168hrs)

Yes you can,go to the chatbox settings open general options and look for ---> Number of days before automatic chats removal...:D

when buy it, have error when load mgc_cb_evo_bf.js
and i think in next version you should make this chatbox can display everywhere, when user put variable to display

What is the process of upgrading to 4.2 if im currently on 3.8 and have the 3.8 version of this mod installed (v3.0.0)?

1) Should I first upgrade, uninstall it and install the 4.x version of this mod?

2) Uninstall it before upgrading to 4.x then install the 4.x version of this mod after upgrade of forum is complete?

Also, would uninstalling remove the the tables originally created by this mod? What are those tables?

FYI - I have the pro version but site (http://www.mgcproducts.com/icart.php...ct&productid=4) says that it supports up to 4.1.x, will it work fine with 4.2.x?

In your admin CP -> usergroup manager
You have to set the options for each usergroup

Will donate $10 to whoever can fix my security token issue.

Been using chatbox for like 2 years, never an issue... Suddenly today using Chrome & FireFox I cant see the chat.. If I try to type in it, I get the missing security token error msg.

Tried 3 different browsers.. no luck

Help? $20!

Many of my users, when type a phrase, the chat push them down the forum, and I've tested on some windows laptop having the same result: when I enter a phrase, and enter, I'm immediately below the chat, that disappears.

Am I the only one that faces this problem?
I also have bought the new registered user notifications, but I still have no license file. Since 8th of May.

Default install, chatbox only sits there.
Followed the instructions to the letter.

PHP version
Windows/Apache

What does it do, what errors show up in Google/IE/FF/Chrome developer/error console?

Did you enable it for all the usergroups?

A bunch of time ago I've installed the chat, and bought a script from the site. I had the crypted license after a week, and still nobody answers to the issue above. Only per payment. Bah...

Which vB version do you use ?

If you look in your browser console (in firefox for example), do you have any javascript error ?

Sorry to ask but I can't set permissions for my users... I upgraded mgc from 2.3 by deleting the product and all files then importing the xml and uploading the file.

However when I go to Usergroups >> Usergroup Manager >> Registered Users, I have the MGC Chatbox Evo : Custom Parameters box but with only Default color (without the #) and Channel displayed by default... I can't find the rights...

I use VB Version 4.2.1

Reinstall it over top of itself. See if that helps.

Hello, thanks for this mod, it's working great but I got an issue :

When I click on a smiley on the list it's redirecting me to this page :
mysite.com/search.php?do=getnew&contenttype=vBForum_Post#chat box

Only one specific smiley is making the issue, all other seems to be OK.

On the "more smiley" page when I click on this smiley it's not redirecting but it's not putting the smiley in the chat (while it's working good with others smileys)

Having a little trouble. The install seemed to go fine and I am able to see the chatbox, except I only see "Loading..." in the text field. I am not able to make a test post.

Running 4.2.1. Chrome. Anyone else have this issue?

EDIT - I'm also having the full page mode and "more smilies" buttons open up to broken 404 pages.

Try it in Firefox, it could be a chrome issue
