What do i have to do to make the quick reply sunscribe you to threads so that people get the email notifcations when someone else replys?

Did anyone ever find a way to insert quotes directly into the Quick Reply box (similar to vB3)?

I've also slightly modified the Quick Reply box to display things the way I want them displayed, as shown here.

I have a very twisted problem

Every time I quick reply in a thread that is stickied, it gets un-stickied.

Any ideas? I'm lost on this one.

you installed it at the wrong place in your template, throw it in a wysiwyg and move it that way ;)

Ok, I've had this hack working fine for months, then today I had some server troubles and had to reinstall the OS. Now I get when using the quick reply box, but I can still reply normally. Any ideas?

Found out the problem. I had forgotten to change "file_uploads" in php.ini to On. Works now.

I'm pretty sure that's been covered in this thread. Do a search using the box in the lower right hand corner.

When i installed it the Quick Reply Box Showed up at the Top and not at the Bottem Help would be nice.

I used this hack in my forum (thanks) which is currently running 2.2.9 and the Reply Box shows up at the top of the thread instead of at the bottom. What did I do wrong???

i am having a problem with the attachments, the option to add attachments is there, when i add the attachments it posts the thread but with no attachments.

If you are getting the QRB on top instead of bottom then listen up :)
it seems that there are 2 places where the code is place, you must put it on the second :)

$textareacols = gettextareawidth();

So I couldn't put this code after it:

$clickysmilies = getclickysmilies();


Also, he goes on about "showthread_quickreply" I don't even have that template...

Now, the thing is, if I don't have this stuff then how the heck do I have the quick reply, lol. I just want to add my smilies, everything else is there except that!

The template you want to edit is showthread_replybox not showthread_quickreply.

I am aware of that, I am talking about what was mentioned earlier in the thread in regards to adding smilies...

Also, that code isn't listed in showthread_replybox anyway

Also, you have to add $clickysmilies where you want the smilies to appear.

to add a new template go to the admin cp to the left all the wat to the bottom there are your template options click add.
