From what I understand the data service gives the goals as the final result so practically AA cannot do anything about it. AA please confirm this if I have understood well.

However, for the last time I suggest that there is a way of inputing manually a score in such cases so everybody is happy.

Bettingadvice is the biggest soccer betting forum and I'm really happy they agree with me.

you will see the notifications in navbar ONLY for TODAYs matches..
means your time rightnow + 24 hours.. you want see the matches which are on July 2th.

same with the subscribed emails which will be sent short after midnight.

on german "Tippspiel" does not really sounds like "Betting game".. there was not really a correct translation for it, so AA_ called it "Betting Game".

"Tippspiel" is not a game like bets on sportbooks sites..
"Tippspiel" is made on goals and points basis for users.

Game is so designed that there can't be draws in "Round of 16", "Quarter-finals, etc. like in South Africa. One team of those 2 must be the winner.

Soooo.... "Tippspiel" is made to get the correct result of the whole match.. not only 90 minutes, if there is a draw, also including extra time and penalties..

So in my personal opinion, Addon is working like designed.
My users are aware about it and they do not complain. :up:

If we knew that before the worldcup starts, this would not be a problem.

But please, someone show to me where in the description of the program there is something saying that extra time and penalties count.

So for some of you maybe this is normal because you had such competitions before, but for some of us it came like a surprise in the middle of the competition. That's why we are complaining. We didn't know about it, because nobody told us.

Do you need to be told not to jump off the cliff as you may get hurt? You should always do as much research as possible, ask questions WAIT FOR ANSWERS etc before installing any modifications.

The coder described what this does, and described it well it is not their fault you don't like the way it is done now - feel free to code your own system if you like.

You are right, but having a sports site since 2001 I never imagined that extra time and penalties would count in a competition. So, actually if you consider something as normal you may never think about asking a question.

I love this plugin and I'm going to use it for leagues with no knock-out rounds from now on.

I see there are 2 options to 'force' users to use email notifications (unless they change it themselves) but none forcing new users to have notifications set?

Are notifications set as standard to on?

I've ran the SQL query to force the users to have notifications on but what happens when new users start to use your great addon?

if a user (old or new) has no preferences in "tippspiel" and makes a bet then automatically activates the emailabo (if the acp option enabled). this applies to all users!

Yes.

But there is no option in the admincp to force "Display notification for all matches with unplaced bets in navbar" onto new users as there are for the 2 email options?!

So I was asking is "Display notification for all matches with unplaced bets in navbar" on as default to new users and so they can turn it off in their own football usercp?

Quick question: on your to-do list I see "betting pools" - could you explain what this means? Are you talking about users being able to set up little 'mini competitions' between their mates and see standings just for them?

statistically (for FIFA or UEFA) a match that goes at the penalties is ALWAYS a draw ... :)

I'm wanting to update this.

Can someone please remind me the difference between;

I'm pretty sure the difference used to be detailed/advised in the first post but the coder seems to have modified the content. Maybe an idea to detail the difference.

Is it possible to remove linking forum to vbsoccer.php, I would like to put that page somewhere else but when I do it it doesn't alow me without linking to some forum?
