Yes, because you have to make template edits you can just edit the templates in the particular style!

I'm trying to upload this into v3.6.8 but I got an error when uploading. It tells me that is not compatible with my version. Any idea on how can I get it installed on 3.6.8?

Is there a way to the ads not display in the header in certain forums? There are a couple that I don't want ads in but I haven't seen anything in the instructions unless I missed it.

OK, i finally got this working... ALMOST.

Everything works fine, then when I click "autorefresh below navbar", the adds go away with an error sign. Any clue?

have you added multiple banner or ad code in the desired box seperated by | (thats Shift+\)? , remember if its Adsense code you will see an error at first for any thing up to 2 hours (they state 10 minutes but it can be longer) until it picks up the content of your site so it can deliver the ads!

this modification doesn't work well with a new copy of 3.8, when I reverted the templates and installed the modification again, there were a few bugs with the ads below the navbar and the header part.

I haven't experienced any bugs as i made the template edits again!, i'm running the stable release of 3.8.0 ads are fine check here http://www.thecodecage.com/forumz/

I'm still running v2.3 of this Mod without problems... (on vB 3.7.5)...

I will be updating vB to 3.8 soon/eventually...

I saw no need to go beyond v2.3 of this Mod since it looks like he just added features to simplify the install and setup for noobs....

I use the Adsense option in this Mod, I see vB v3.8 adds its own support for Adsense now...

I have it set to only display an ad on the postbit after 1 post and no others, yet there is another ad some posts done. Anyone else having this issue? My settings:

Display advertisement after X post on a page? (blank)
This will force ads to be displayed just after a amount of posts in thread (blank)
Enter how many posts a thread must contain for advertisements to be displayed. 1

In the blank boxes type 0 and you should then only see the ad after the first post!

I did so and it's the same. It only seems to do it on long threads... even though I have 0's in the settings.

In that case remove the 0's and where you see this:
just put 1, you will see an advert after the first post of each page.

I just checked and i see 1 advert under the first post on every page!, is that not what you wanted?

I found out that different users are seeing different amount of ads in postbit because they have their post count set differently.

1. Since I installed this product and made relevant changes my header has gone off-centre to the left of the main forum body. Why? And how do I fix?

That is bizarre! Your code was exactly the same as mine. Thought i'd copy and paste yours in place of mine and it's fixed that problem! :eek:

There mau have been an extra space or something in yours, as for your banner have you tried wrapping it in <center></center> tags?

Where are the instructions for this? I got it installed, I just want to load a few banners.

Load the banner code wherever you want in the sections allowed, for multiple banners you do it like this:
BANNER CODE |BANNER CODE|...etc where | is Shift+\ then each time the page refreshes a new banner is shown unless you use auto refresh but then you should set the timings.

Works perfect on 3.8, i have just upgraded and needed no changes whatsoever!

You can show ads to certain usergroups or in certain forums!

I still have the issue of the postbit ads appearing more than once, even though the settings are correct. If users have their own post count more than 10, they see multiple ads, even though it is set to just 1.
