That zipped file is for vB Credits 1.1 and 1.2, however...it's not for this version...

I could certainly use an upgraded integration hack, if anyone has one for this version of vB Credits.

I'm not going to lie. I only installed this so I can have a way to kinda control people using the TK Egg Avatar mod by assigning a cost to it. I'm thinking this is way too much overhead for that, eh? :)

i just upgrade from 1.3 to 1.4 and its messed up my forum :( i must have vb credits on my forum.... and 1.4 did not work at alll.... and there is no 1.3 available...so i cant downgrade....

after upgrading... and done the template changes... i got weird error on every where.. none of the ajax functions were working... page was broken... half of the template bcom white.... and credits were not showing anywhere....
and i got an error message on top of all pages
can someone either tell me how to downgrade or fix this issue please....

okay.. warning division error is gone....
but this plugin is not working at all..... it dosent show anything in usercp, postbit, memberlist... plus for these option in admincp
are not working at all... when i click on any of them, it says invalid action specified.. and it redirects me to Maintenance>update counter. and i cant find vbcredits option there as well....

i just want to downgrade to 1.3 .... can someone please get me 1.3

:p the point is to have those on my site, not vborg. otherwise i would have a few dozen hacks here and support would get annoying due to lack of permissions. i can sacrifice the install count :-/

The numbers refer to the version of Living Avatars you have installed, not vBCredits

Well if you turn off everything else (putting 0 for values of things you dont want to use usually does it, but read setting descriptions) it shouldnt really do anything except have files sitting on your server that hardly do anything :p

Dont downgrade - that will leave you with even more problems than before and also wouldnt work at all (vbulletin doesnt implement or support that).

Blank Pages: remove all occurrences of
from (forums)/includes/xml/cpnav_credits.xml and save it to your server again. refresh the admin menu and the links will work. its a libxml bug with vbulletin.

I can help get your site straightened out personally if you PM me an admin login (and maybe FTP). Downgrading will seriously make the problem much worse. I'm sure the solutions to fixing the issues you have are small and settings based, I've gotten this working on dozens of sites personally by now :p and the install count says it too so shouldnt be that hard.

... so i didn mind losing all the credits... Thanks for your help again... may be i'll upgrade with next stable release...

I have a question...

If a user wins a drawing and/or receives a donation from someone...is this award/donation supposed to be listed anywhere other than in the user's CP? I mean, shouldn't there be an award icon located within the thread a person was given a donation for? Or...if they receive an award or win a drawing, shouldn't there be an icon within their postbit, profile, CP that displays this?

If so...how is this enabled...and how can I test it?

for getting post awards, you can enable them to be publicly displayed in the global vbcredits specialty settings, which makes a table with the award information appear beneath the posts that have them.

I'm currious how much money some sites have made from our mods, lol, aka like the most amount? may have to do poll some time for kicks. Gaming site I run, with custom gaming itemtype for vbcommerce, I've made around $500 or more in the last few months between dark and I. Not a lot but helps towards vbcredits main site hosting bills. And that was using vbcommerce as Beta lol... still be interesting to find out other other sites are earning...

Damn I really wish you guys didn't have to put in a "Plugins" folder in the uploads. I'm sitting here like an idiot struggling to upload this.

I uploaded every where they belong, but I'm stuck at "Plugins". My forum directory didn't originally have a plugins, so I made one, and uploaded them, but when I try to upload the product, it says I need to upload credits_installer.php, which I thought I did.

As you can see I have no idea what I'm doing :)

if you open up the zip file for vbcredits and look in the upload folder, youll see some folders that match what you already have in your forum folder on your server. Upload the files from the zip to your server in the corresponding folder, including the stuff from the plugins folder (so only put those files inside the plugins folder inside your newly created plugins folder on your server - everything else goes in the other corresponding folders..)

basically, most ftp programs will handle missing folders and subfolders and stuff if you highlight and transfer everything from the zip's upload folder into your forum root folder on your server.

To be honest, I did do that. In fact I uploaded the credit_installer in almost every folder just to be safe, but it's still not working. I know I'm doing something wrong, just wish I could pin-point it properly.

did you get licenses version from our site, or download from here? you'll need to register on our site if you plan to use vbcommerce. however just using download from here, you just unzip upload, run product file and do ALL template edits.

if you pm me an admin login with plugin/product permissions and ftp info, i can verify that you put everything in the right place.

Breakpoint, I use the vBCommerce "shop" from their site. It's great and it has helped me pay some of the bills around here with some paid add-ons as well :up:

how do you change the points of a user through acp?

Go to their profile and near the bottom there should be a user point edit box, just enter the amount desired and save.
