You probably uploaded the files to a wrong folder. Please check if you have this file:
/home/public_html/forums/includes/class_xperience.php

I was doing a recount and I encountered a Database Error saying that I had reached my max_resource limit. Now I cannot access my site. When I go to my site url, it just says Database error. How can I resolve this issue?

You cannot, just uninstall vBExperience. This modification is not made for webspace with limited queries.

Thanks for a great mod but I have stumbled across a problem. In the rankings page many users are being listed duplicate times. Is this normal?

Just when you thought every possible Mod was out there for vBulletin , this comes around... Wow, im blown away right now looking at the description and screenshots for this. Very nice and thought out Mod. Good stuff !

One question, are we able to disable certain ranking parameters ? Like for instance i'd like to disable the Infraction part... as sometimes members start out bad and then get good over time..it would suck if they had to see that stamped on their record forever.

Oops 2 questions.. And is there a Counter that has to be run that calculates all the previous members that have registered years ago ?

You need to set it so that you inherit privalleges from secondary groups

if you download the zip file there should be a plug-in folder just for vBadvanced. :up:

Users are not able to stay logged into the forum. After loging in it says "Thank you for logging in" then when the page refreshes it shows nobody as being logged in.

Any idea what to do?

This is not an emergency as this plugin is disabled while I wait for a solution. I did try to look through all the posts for a solution but found nothing yet.

Thank you, but those plugins don't show what I need.

I want to be able to modify my welcome block so that it shows the users activity level and current experience level. So they can see this right when they look to see PMs or New Posts.

I updated my forum in vb 3.7 last version 2 days ago, and then i tried to update vbExperience... but it doesn't work, and give me a nice database error. Here it is :

How can i fix this ? Or can i downgrade to vbexprience 3.10 ?

That is for 100% not a problem of vBExperience.

Did you maybe mixed up content of ZIP/upload and XML? awardlimit is part of newer product XML (not level XML)

You will have to delete stats and do a recount.

I just downloaded the zip from here, and re-uploaded the PHP files to my server.
Then, I tried to upload the xml file product, by the admin cp, and it made the database error... Then i've uploaded the level xml ("vbexperience_level_2_average"), and it worked.. but the product still didn't worked, and gave me errors...

I am still using vb experience 3.10, because i cannot update the product with the xml BUT the files on my server are 3.12 ones. :/

Points will be re-calculated by cron jobs

Marius, unfortunately due to really high server load caused by this mod i've decided to uninstalling this mod:(
First disabled cron jobs and restarted webserver to stop cron jobs but still forum was with lag
disabled whole vBexperienve product still same issue
at least i've decided to uninstall vbXperience and problem solved

im lookin for an optimize method for this supermod! for example just calculating points for active users
any chance for supadupa crazy forums?

I'm not having lag problems, but I'd like to see this as well. I'd love to see rewards given out based on what has happened over a specific time period like a week or month, instead of just handing it to the top in each category since the beginning of the board.

It is you, vBExperience works like a charm on 3.6.x Only thing: The statistics in the profice are reduced.

Not sure what you mean. I don't see a field for points in the Edit Award screen. Assign this award manually and default order are both set to 0. Limit the award to a position in query is set to 1 for silver.

On the points page, I'm giving points for posts which is what I'm giving this award for. There are two fields for this in the awards screen, points_post and points_posts. I've tried both and neither give an award.

Did you click on Generate Awards? Are the awards missing on awards page or on ranking?

Check also if you maybe disabled awards in settings.

Yep, and when I change the default properties of the old awards it generates them for new people. For any new awards, it lists them on the page, but just never hands them out. They always just stay at 0.
