I've just updated to 1.3 from 1.2 and when I go to the chat box page (I have it loaded only to a seperate page) it only shows as 'Loading....' But the chats never show up.

I've reverted back to 1.2 for now.

Any ideas?

Maybe you didn't upload all new files ? (especially js one in the clientscript directory).

The progress is going well :D I have not yet started lol. This won't be a big deal, I'll do that after 1.4 release.

hello, i am having a problem . in the Usecp i disabled Display chatbox for my test account , now want to use chatbox again but i can't find a option to enable chatbox again in usercp ,

One problem atm, we had this problem before but I have no idea how the other shoutbox maker had resolved it, but the shoutbox does not work on IE7, it gives the error:
Could not complete the operation due to error: c00ce56e

Our site is in UTF-8, and I remember it having to do something with it before.

Firefox handles it perfect.

I also would like to ask if and how it is possible to also display seconds next to hours:minutes at the chat messages.

I've tried disabling the hack, all hooks, going back to 1.3, and even re-uploading all vbulletin php files, but it didn't help.

Please help me solve this problem. I'm quite sure it was caused by this update as I have not made any other changes to my site in recent times.

The column 'touserid' is new to version 1.4. Did you import the new 1.4 product? and make sure you select 'overwrite' when importing.

Yes, I did import the new product with the overwrite option set to yes. I did it twice just to make sure.

edit: Actually, all of those error emails that I got were all within a few minutes. I guess that must have been during the time after I uploaded the files but before I imported the new product. Still, my quick reply is broken for some reason.

Regarding utf8, have you tried using the accent problem solution to resolve it ? (by changing the $chatbox_utf8 var to 1 in the functions_mgc_cb.php file)

Your errors seems like you're having problems with javascript, did you upload them and reinitialize templates ?

Which button ? the PM channel one ? It should appear in english I have just checked the xml language file.

This is in the style manager, in the dropdown list select main css and then go to the bottom of the page where you'll find Additional CSS

The PM channel contains all the shouts you have send to users in private so even in the PM channel, you have to type the /pm command.

Plz don't edit your messages once they are sent if you want me not to don't see them ;)

/mp is that a pm comand since when i click on the brush icon it sows me that way

also i did follow ur instruction how to upload the english language.. but it seems the buttonstill shows french language on the new icon button
