Hello, I recently bought Living Avatars after installing it at http://www.gameogre.com/forums/

I am not a coder (thus I can not offer technical support), but I am open to ideas for the program. Feel free to contact me with ideas or inquiries.

The forum for the Living Avatars site is back with a new Vbulletin License.

I am not a developer either, but I would be willing to help out anywhere I can. I do run my own web hosting service. I am nopt sure how that can help, but I will do what I can.

it will not work for vb4, since is not compatible,.. and since i got banned from the living avatar forums (without a proper reason).. i'm not sure if there is any plan for upgrading this amazing mod

Correct, LA will not work for VB4 yet. It will not to be updated for that.

I'm glad to see this being carried on. I had a whole series designed that I never got around to completing and really wanted to start releasing those sets. Will you be releasing the full res version of the base male/female PSD? It seems a shame to see all those avatar characters with the jagged edges from low res recreations.

I am using your mod, i would like to change the size of the avatar. All of the user avatar, no using living, have a size, configured. But the living ones, are smaller. How do i change this?

Any word on this mod? Really would like to see this ported over. I worked hard and put many hours into images, many of which I released to the public with 10's of thousands of downloads. Please dont let this die. :(

The forum on LivingAvatars.com had to be closed due to excessive spam and hacking. That said, Living Avatars will have a forum on GameOgre.com.

Still trying to find a dedicated coder for this program. Once one is found, we hope to upgrade Living Avatars to VB4.0:).

Since i install vbseo i cant save the avatars with living. Any idea?

We updated to MYSQL 5 and PHP 5.2 today and now we are getting a call to function error when someone attempts to save their avatar.

Is there a fix?

Any thoughts on getting this ported over to 4.1.3?

Although this mod is supposedly compatible with vb 4 now, a few have gotten install/admin errors. There are no install instructions aside from this thread here and tech support leaves a lot to be desired.

Installed ok.
Deleted install folder and chmodded avatars folder.
Now when i try access admin cp it says below.

"You must be logged in under you forum to access this area."

I am logged into my forum.
I wonder if my name is causing the problem DAMINK™??
Or is it because i dont login under the actual Admin id rather changed mine to Admin?

Actually, the issue is with trying to use this and using Cloudflare.

I really like this though, and it's so fun to play around with. With that, I do think it's time to uninstall it. There's really not much support anymore either.

Trying to install avatar packs from your site, but all browsers are telling me the zip archive is damaged.

They're working on the Avatar packs, and will have them finished soon.

If you have 3.8, it's best to just stick with the 1.2.0 for now. I'm going to try to overwrite some files and I'll see if that works at all.
