I have tried clicking on it various times as well as removing the mod and then reinstalling again but it has not fixed either my problems.

Something is not quite right somewhere on my board. :(

Seems I am not the only one https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...31#post1230431 ;o) I guess main code is became so huge, that plugin-Editor of VB is not able to manage it.

When I have the stats enabled, I see this in the quick links menu

Attachment 63319

Maybe it can be fixed with a conditional
Code:

<if condition="$cybtopstats_enabled">code here</if>
Somebody knows?

dbirosel 04-18-2007 05:09 PM

How do i add $cybts_enablelink to my navbar under quicklinks?

Also, how do i have latest posts to the right side??

DuyNguyen 04-18-2007 05:52 PM

after update to version 5.1, the latest posts are not showed in my TopX. Anybody help me please?

This should do the job:

Revert hack templates if any customized.

Check settings.

rayw 04-19-2007 09:34 AM

Unfortunately, I've had to disable this mod for the time being due to this.

Its actually very easy to do....I'm doing it.....Just set the hack to exclude the news forums and they will not show up in the latest posts.

I'm having a serious problem with templates. I have a light and dark template for my site.....everything works okay in the dark template, but for some reason I can't fix, the table heas (Thread, Date, Time, Forum, etc) are the same color as the background....any ideas?

http://hardwearelogic.com (look at the stats box using both the light template and dark template to see what I mean

Excellent! I never thought of that. Thanks a lot. :)

I'm also having similar problems (i think) possibly something to do with the styles (CSS). Whenever I hover the cursor over the Top Stats heading in IE7, everything below it becomes underlined with the same style I have given my links. It happens in Safari on a Mac as well, but nearly as bad. Firefox and Opera display it perfectly. I can't figure out why so I've disabled the mod for the time being unfortunately. :(

Anyone idea: Where and who and which script or php is responsible for calculating and updating that column "Thread"?

Seem Cyb - Advanced Forum Statistics - UT is not working properly in my Forum.
I execute the query wroten there "by hand" and the number of threads are now correct.

Cyb where is the definition, how oft must this cron script run?

Thanks :)

If you have a mouse with a clickable scroller.. when you middle click it goes to normal.. how strange!

dbirosel 04-19-2007 09:47 PM

Is it possible to have the latest posts to be controlled by AJAX? we have vBShout, and members would just chat, chat and chat. With AJAX it would be great if the Stats operated by AJAX, so they would know what is new.

dbirosel 04-19-2007 11:41 PM

Also, how about having the latest posts on the left side?

Would that not put strain on the server? You could always use the iSpy mod

dbirosel 04-20-2007 02:13 PM

Would it? That's something i want to know. If we can have ajax from the latest posts. This hack will go gold.

Dr.NoTime 04-20-2007 03:08 PM

Looks great. Thanks.

awesome work Cyb! I got your new 5.1 installed and it works like a charm :)

Legende 04-21-2007 09:30 PM

Hi Cyb! Could you please fix the bug with new/old threads? The threads still appear as unread no matter if you have read them already (so the icon and color doesn't change back)! the only thing to set it back is doing a mark all read :/

greets (hope you understand it)

Are you sure you need that file?

Except you are using Arabic language second attachment is not needed. It's just translation and XML file is only important in whole archive.

I have deleted my CMPS template module and re-added it and still no joy. It is as if the $cybtopstats variable is not being globalised.

errorerror 04-23-2007 07:07 PM

I'm having the same problem.

This is what I tried :
I added 'adv_index' to the Additional Location setting, and then added $cybtopstats in my 'adv_portal' template.(Didn't work.)

Suggestions anyone?

FlyTalk 04-24-2007 05:48 AM

Hi Guys

I can not for the love of me find where to disable it. I moved it to sit at the top of the page, but i still have it at ythe bottom. I followed your instructions but i cant find it, i'm running 6.5

Cheers

Valter 04-24-2007 07:48 AM

Instructions on how to enable Top Stats in vBadvanced CMPS.

1. Add 'adv_index' to the 'Stats on custom pages" setting field

2. Go to: vBa CMPS > Default Settings
In Portal Output Global Variables setting put cybtopstats (without $), then Save

3. Put $cybtopstats in desired template, where you wish Stats to appear.
For example open template adv_portal and put $cybtopstats (with $) below $navbar.

kelekian 04-25-2007 03:38 AM

javascript error on this line
<td class="tcat" colspan="4"><a style="float:right" href="#top" onclick="return toggle_collapse('cyb_fh_stats')"><img onload="CybNPHSetMain();" id="collapseimg_cyb_fh_stats" src="images/buttons/collapse_tcat.gif" alt="" border="0" /></a>

version 5.1 installed

Did this and added 'adv_index' to the 'Additional Location setting'.

Worked like a charm!
Thanks Cyb

I'm curious...what is the process for updating this plugin? do you just reupload the product but set the overwrite permissions to "yes"?

That's all.

And sometimes it's required to revert hack templates if any of them was modified on older version.

Also when new version includes new options it's good to check hack settings in ACP after upgrade.

2. "Portal Output Global Variables" contains cybtopstats ONLY ... so DONE
3. I have a module called "Advanced Forum Statistics" which is a template module and the template is called adv_portal_forum_stats and looks like this ..
Code:

<table align="center" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%">
<tr><td><span class="smallfont">$cybtopstats</span></td></tr>
</table>

I also have adv_index in the "Put Main Box on custom pages (OPTIONAL)" section of the options page for this mod.

Adding $cybtopstats under $navbar in adv_index also did not work.

Still no output for the variable $cybtopstats. If I add text to this the text displays fine so the template module is working fine. It's as if the variable is not globalising. I have had this previously working. Downgrading did not work either ..

What templates need to be reverted ??
