what you mean wich check previous invites?

if the user you want to invite is allready register?
it shouldn be so hard, if i find time i'll make it

If a member tries to invite someone that is already registered it doesn't send it. Or if the member tries to invite someone that has already been invited (may not have registered)

I install the product and doesnt like it.
So I do reverse pyschology. And when I log out, I get this.
Now each time I tried logging in or click on 'Register', I get the same message!

Question of the day :) Can anyone explain the problem with the crons?

I've been trying to talk to psionic vision about purchasing the commercial version even with no support and no upgrades but that's proved almost impossible, so it looks like i might need to use this version.

I've set it up on my test board and all seems fine, but with the reports here of the crons not working i haven't set them up

if this is working then someone plz reply
and also tell if it will work for vb 3.6.4

Guessing nobody knows a work around for the crons then as yet?

i've installed this modification but it doesn't send activation links on emails neither email . When i refresh the page where invite is appearing if the user i sent it accepted or not it get doubles and doubles and so on.

Indeed, They are not working on my servers!! hotmail and msn messenger are not working!!!
WTF!!! worst part is that i payed for this mod.
everytime i click on login it tells me password or username incorrect, then i use hotmail and it login but it doesnt retreive any contact.

any working refferal or invite hack herE?

Been using this successfully since i bought it about a year ago, but yesterday i just get this message when i press the invite link.

Site error: the file /home/1/f/freakshow/www/forum/invites.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.

This was installed by me when i bought it, and it's still located in the root folder. Nothing changed anywhere. No update of bords, of addons, nothing.. it just suddenly stopped working last night and it's the same way still.

Any idea what caused it, and how i can fix it?

will this work in vb 3.6.4?
if not then any refferal/invite mod for vb 3.6.4?

I really like this mod and I test on 3.6.8 and for now it work fine, but I'm worried about a few things...

1) The name var on the cron is important? I put "expiredinvitations" and "updateinvitecounts".

2) And in Product I leave it in vBulletin in each cron.

2) What kind of problem would appear in the future?.

Please! anyone running this useful mod on 3.6.8 ?

I sent an invitation to somebody and when they tried to join by clicking on the link,
it gave them the following error -

You must be invited in order to be able to register on our board. Have a nice day.

What am I missing, I thought this mod works fine.

PS: Error comes after user has gone through all the headache of entering userid and image verification.

One more question folks - I would like to have both invite based registration as well as normal registration system. Is it possible with this mod.

I have this installed on 3.7 and it works fine.

I went to the advertised site - the client area does NOT contain this mod anymore [v1.5]

Also, v1.4 doesn't seem to work on v3.6.8 [or at least I cannot see the 'Invite Manager' anywhere..]

I have installed this hack on my forum, and i haven't any kind of problems on installation.

When i make one invitation, and when i go to the mail account and click on the link that the invite system send, it shows the message

"Sorry, registration has been disabled by the administrator."

What can i do to solve this problem?
I have to active any option on the admincp?

how do I setup the crontasks? I have installed all the files and adjusted the templates and I have to setup the crontasks.

I saw that you have to do it in the scheduled task manager but in the manual they give the info but the vbulltin script says I have to fill in all fields!

By turning on user registrations in admin cp, you solve the problem with the message. The invite system automaticly disables normal registration, if you choose to have that option enabled in your invites cp.

Noticed one solved this issue by turning on permissions for "guests" so that they are able to see the forum. Done... Its still there. All settings are as they should be. But im still not able to get the invite hack working, its the same thing with the previous invite hack i tried...

Any suggestions on how ppl have solved this issue or any guidelines i should follow?

Uninstalled, tried to install again... followed instructions, turned on the blocked script in the instructions, clicked in checkbox at all things that was done, after all was checked, i clicked on the link to put this threat as installed. Checked script, worked...

Anyone who is interested, let me say that this is the best invites system out. I've purchased it along with the other grabbers and it works like a charm!!

It's a shame it's not supported though. Can't blame a guy for having a personal life though...

workaround ? Just go to the user that requests more invites, and add 100... Its done in the admin cp, under each user details, bottom left side.
